ClassyChassisAre you taking it as a supplement? It isnt very bioavailable I know. And its half-life is just under an hour. Its functional elimination is around 3 hours I seem to remember. So, not sure what you are trying to test? If you are trying to kill senescent cells for anti-aging or anti-inflammatory purposes then you may consider fasting for 2 or 3 days at a time. When you are "starving", the body digests the damaged cells first . Or even in conjunction with the fisetin. Good luck!
Thanks, ClassyChassis. Yes, Fisetin has very low absorption, less than 2%. I'm trying determine how well Fisetin preparations can be absorbed via a dietary supplement. Do you know of any labs that will do a test for this either through a blood or urine sample? I'd prefer an unregulated lab (under the FDA radar).
Testing metabolites (geraldol, glucuronide or sulfates) in urine may be a better idea.
What do you think?
ClassyChassisI dont know where you could test, but metabolites in urine would probably be more practical. Still not sure how much useful information you could get though. I wish I could be more helpful, but I just dont know. Good luck!
