First-Timer Questions

ad

I am not planning to do my first cycle in the very near future or anything, but I plan on running Test E around 400mg/wk for 12 weeks when I do. Also, I will be doing this during a very difficult semester in school. Eating, sleeping, and lifting will never be a problem; however, I will be spending every other waking second working my ass off. Welcome to the university life, eh? Anyway, I am just wondering if there are any other university students currently dealing with this kind of life. I am basically just wondering whether or not it is an ideal time to take that next step and start down that path. Also, I know my first cycle will not be my last. I am not an idiot. I know better than that. Ha. But, ideally, I would like to only do maybe a cycle a year when I am just beginning. I am a pretty self-disciplined individual, so I think that's reasonable. Just looking for some opinions from the experienced. Anyone in a similar situation (or any vets who have been), feel free to drop a line my way. I am still young, and I am here to learn. Thanks, guys.

Stats first as always please... i see you are 21yrs old and from what you have written it is clear to me that you will not be able to find the time or give the commitmant needed towards diet and training intensity... with this in mind AAS is totally out of the question at this stage for you... it is not a magical formula that will get you swole without all the other things needed being maxed out... i.e train/eat/rest... your life needs to be in a more stable place before even thinking steroids brother... dont want to come across as flaming you here... this is good sound advice to keep you healthy and safe.

Nah. I appreciate the honesty, man. And you're right. I essentially work 6a-9p some days between training, eating, classes, work, and labs... and I have to hit a final meal and the bedsheets just to get my 8 hours after that. Some days are easier than those, but you're right. It's a hectic schedule. I will put it up for a while. Maybe reward myself when I graduate in two years? That will give me two more years to prove myself and lay a more solid foundation... And learn a lot more about diet, training, and the compounds. Again, I appreciate your honesty. Thanks, man.

Definitely, man. I am a naturally small guy. That's why I assume starting with 400 would give me some solid gains anyway. I will be 22 September 4. Stand at 5'10. When I started a couple years ago, I was 145 lbs at 16% bf. I'm at 165 right now with bf around 13%, so still pretty small. I'm definitely sticking to test only for my first cycle. Gotta see how my body works with one compound before tacking on anything else. And I will be eating like a monster. One good thing about my uni is the unlimited meal plan... and there are so many clean options in the dining hall. Endless amounts of brown rice, sweet potatoes, potatoes, chicken, sometimes steak, sometimes tilapia, etc. Pretty amazing, really. And, yes about the PCT. Let's say I go ahead and run 500mg/wk. I would then plan to run:

Test E at 500mg/wk for 10 weeks (split like M/F or something)
Clomid weeks 12-15 for PCT as follows:
-Day1 300mg
-Day 2-11 100mg
-Day 12-21 50mg
Nolvadex at 20mg/day all 15 weeks of cycle and post

I have been reading a lot and this SEEMS to be a pretty basic/safe first cycle. How's it looking to you?

Are Mon/Thurs and Mon/Fri really any different? Either way, you go 3 days one way and 4 the other. Ha. Does it make a difference? Or maybe Mon morning and Thurs night to hit a perfect 3.5 balance? I donno. I might think too much. Thanks for the advice on the PCT, btw. I see people saying one should run Nolva through the entire cycle too. Do you recommend only for PCT? I probably will hold off and try to keep it natural this school year. I do have the unlimited food, after all. Might as well put it to the test before putting the test to the test. Ah, well. Stock up for next year maybe! Thanks again.

What I used to do was start cycle at end of semester. Then by the time school is out, you have about 4-8 weeks of break.

Say your semester ends first week of June then summer lasts till september. Start your cycle in May then you will be done by the time the next school year starts.

Then if your school does a winter break like in december and January you can run an 8 week cycle then with short esters if you choose.

Cool, man. Thanks for the advice. I might go with something similar; however, in order to get the 10 weeks in, I would maybe have to start around the 1st of November and go through Nov and Dec and the first couple weeks of January, then PCT pretty much through the end of Jan and early Feb. I would be cycling through a solid month or so at the end of the Fall semester and be on PCT for about a month into the Spring semester. Haha. Either way, I'm gonna have to be on and/or coming off while classes are in. I think I mostly just want an opinion on how I will FEEL when I am "on" or when I am in PCT. I hear a lot about people saying they feel better and are more productive when they are on... And I hear a bit about people saying they get a little down and out in PCT and once they are fully "off." I just wanna know if it will affect my head in school, I guess. Haha. Feel free to laugh if that is a dumb thing to worry about... But it's always better to ask questions and get the education before doing anything, you know?
