feeling great... thought I would help bring spirits up!!!
So, I have been on my cycle now for about 6 weeks now.. Masteron 200, Nandroxyl 250, Sustaxyl 350... and Im not going to get in to how I am running the cycle but wanted to share the great compliments I have been receiving as of late. Summer time is here and the festivals are in town, which I see a lot of people that I grew up with and only see them once a year. In one night at my towns biggest festival with my girlfriend by mt side I received no less then 10 compliments on how I look. That makes everything I have sacrificed the last 6 weeks that much more satisfying and makes me more stoked to work harder and longer. If anyone out there has stories like this please share them to help motivate someone that might be struggling to stay the course and not eat that late night snack... Oh and my girl really let me know how she felt that night!!!! thank you to all that has given me advice and shared you knowledge with me!!!

i got two compliments yesterday, 3rd week of test e cycle (600mg/week). one was from a guy "you're starting to look like a bodybuilder!" and the other from a girl "wow, looking big". compliments like that make me feel A-OK about spending up to 12 hours/week in the gym!
keep it up my brother, and feeling good inside is as good as looking good outside!!!
And this one time, in band camp.............

Supernova283You did what with a flute!?!?!
Yea. Do you get the opposite feeling when you come off cycle and people say damn bro u lookin light what happened to you? After awhile u realize ur body is just a tool. Happiness comes from what you use that tool to accomplish. A carpenter doesn't find intrinsic satisfaction by how sharp his saw is, he is happy when he builds a house.
not sure how old you are but at 41 and my background there is not that much loss with what I am running... in my years of D1 ball my base is large so I do not lose what I gain... I may lose a little of the pump that goes with aas but not size.. a few years ago I was injured really bad, and was unable to do anything active for 2yrs so the first time in my life I got heavy above 22% BF So for me the compliments give me a huge boost not in ego but sense of accomplishment.. I do not know anyone that does not like a compliment! so i guess my point is you have to know everyone's story to really understand why things matter to them.. I am not after the compliments but when the people that knew you 25 years ago see you and say wow you look great.. it is a good feeling that's all I'm saying....
Yea man, I'm 100% with you. I feel you and can relate but it got me thinking since I'm coming off cycle now and not loosing muscle but I just happened to be feeling like....what's it all for? Like I work hard everyday and push myself just to look good. But once I look how I want I'm like oh this is cool but I don't feel satisfied. So its the mindset that's important and where you find motivation. The guy below is right in a way although Maybe he misunderstood the metaphor...the life you live is the house man. The body must stay healthy and strong so you can live a fruitful life and that's what satisfies me I guess. I agree with you tho...I love when people are like holy shit u look like how every guy would wanna look....and that's cool...but its not everything. Just because from personal experience I had a crash after I lost mad weight from being sick I felt sooo depressed. Like it just depends what ur intentions are when you lift, I'm not saying you in particular I'm just saying in general, like say some guy spends 10 years lifting and he does it because he likes to look good and nothing else, everyday his motivation is to look jacked. Well its like spending ur life building a house on sand, cuz no matter how strong that house is, if nature wants to take it down, its going down. Right? Then ud be like wow I just wasted my life and accomplished nothing. BUT if you make ur routine part of a balanced lifestyle where you don't focus on just trying to look jacked then if you loose that physique you won't be crushed. Again, I ain't sayin that's YOU...ur post just got me thinking and wanted to bring it up cuz its an issue. I went thru it. At one point in my life I lifted for two years JUST to look good, then I got depressed anddated this girl and I didn't care HOW I looked so I stopped lifting. The jacked body is just a perk from a healthy lifestyle I guess. but your post served its purpose bro.
your thought are deep jim and I respect that and that's what I mean by the " knowing what people have gone thru in life" its all a personal thing when it comes to your "temple" and how ever anyone perceives anything this is why I posted what I did because at this time I am the one coming off being a little depressed with the things I have been thru in the last 5 years and for the first time in a while I FEEL GOOD. Let me clarify that statement the feeling is not solely from body transformation or gear, it has a lot to do with my mind transformation and some other things that have been going my way that usually do not..I am glad I have chosen to start back to the healthily lifestyle to get that perk!!! glad I could invoke a little thought from you..
Supernova283I disagree. I don't get satisfaction from the result of cutting my chicken vs the satisfaction of how sharp the knife that cut that chicken was.
Also you might want to look up intrinsic. The whole point is finding satisfaction in doing the job itself.
To each his own, but if you're comparing bodybuilding to building a house I'd say it's the complete opposite. Personally I find the actual bodybuilding to be as much if not more satisfying than the end result. Usually the end result is a anticlimactic whereas I have the time of my life pumping iron.
Come on dog...ur not happy how sharp the knife is but ur happy when you use it to cook a nice meal and its nicer to cook when you use nice tools. I'm talking big picture here...if you rely on ur looks or ur body physique for happiness then what happens when you crash a car or get some horrible sickness. Its nice to enjoy the fruits of your labor. That's the point of it. I was just being like remember not to put too much emphasis on it cuz it can be taken from you so quickly and sometimes seemingly unfair. I see it everyday.
tread-mGear and Girls just go together brother! Grats on the looks your way, that's the fun part.
thanks tread... and my girl loves the attention!!!
Thanks for sharing bro! I'm feeling good too! Lots of good vibes coming my way too!

CleyonGood stuff bro! Getting those compliments is the best feeling ever!
makes me want to work harder... that's all I'M saying
CleyonHeck yea, I ran into a couple of people I hadn't seen in a decade, and they were floored. The last time they saw me I was fast climbing through the 250lb barrier, and not with muscle. Great feeling.
