Just had to laugh at this. So, was in the bathroom getting ready to pin. alcohol pad-Check, Pin-check, Gear-Check, good to go. Pulled the cap off the pin and drew some test e and then changed out the head of the pin for a fresh sterile one. I was about to tap and push the air out. This is where it got hair ball, some how I knocked the pin out of my hand it went up in the air and came down sharp side first... you would think that with all the spots it could have landed and stick in it would have chosen a less sensitive spot then ole' Helmet Head. I don't think I have ever been more wide eyed and shocked. Thank god for sharp 23g pins, I would hate to think what a 18-20g pin would have felt like. I am a little sore but otherwise fine. So, moral of the experience is- if you got junk that hangs out there keep a firm grip on that pin bro's cause shit ain't no joke.
I know if there was any group of people that would chuckle at this it would be other gear heads and since I keep a low profile in my daily life I had to share it here. OK, you can stop wincing.
