clomid is driving me crazy! how long till i feel better?
ad
apparently clomid is notorious for making you emotional. i am in my 4th week of PCT and everything is fine physically but i am an emotional wreck. i feel "off" all the time. and i read this is what happens when women take it too.
the first few days i did 100mg clomid / 40mg nolva every night before bed, then i dropped it to 50/20 until yesterday i cut clomid in half to 25mg but kept nolva the same.
i ran HCG for 2 weeks the last week of the cycle 2000iu ED, and 1 more week HCG alone, then i started PCT.
i am anxious, shitty mood all the time, tired all the time, headaches... this really blows. i'm just wondering how long after i stop taking this will i start feeling better? i'm staying on nolva for another 2 weeks after stopping clomid

Ive never felt anything with clomid. The "good" feeling of high test ebbs during the PCT run but the clomiphene itself i cant attest side effects to.
4th week? Just hang in there bro! almost over.
Im on clomid also. two more weeks. im counting the days as well because I get the same feelings. Anxiety, feeling like something is off, and being emotional. Its sucky but i can deal with it temporarily if it helps save my nuts hehe
AnonYour systems are fighting for homeostasis, theres a crazy mad party going on inside you, hormones are battling each other, cells are signalling for backup troops only to be tricked by a negative feedback loop, your piturity gland is sending more troops to the war only to be tricked again by the hypothalamus, in other words your body is judt frazzled and confused, its trying to do its job but getting tricked by the serms, hormones are fluctuating and your endcrine system is stressed out and fearing for its life ( lol ) I think its a good idea to run your nolva a bit longer, it will help, relax bro your taking lady hormones, you will get weird sides occasionally, things will get better soon.
I'm not convinced clomid causes the mood swings etc. I think it is a combo of lack of testosterone. Ever notice how on test you feel more euphoric? It is because you are more of a man, and more rational. A lack of test combined with clomid turns you into a woman.
Bro I feel you it sucks my last pct idk if it was clomid or nolva but I just felt blah like empty, I wouldn't say depressed just like want to be by myself and stuff. Deff gonna try torem next pct, used it once and liked it but clomid does do the trick. Anyways you should feel better maybe a week after stopping pct meds, at least I did and boy was it great to be off them lol
gill77yeah i cant really describe the feeling. its not exactly depressed because i am still myself in social situations for example, but just my thought process is different. for the past week i've been waking up with anxiety. i just dont feel calm, i feel stressed and foggy. and emotional. i fucking cried at the end of the movie blow when he's imagining hugging his daughter that shit choked me up. i cried at the end of american sniper too.
some bros have a theory that its not the clomid that is causing this and that its the lack of testosterone. i disagree. that may contribute to the slightest degree. but there were periods where my test was low, and it did not feel like this. also, there are loads of posts from women who take clomid to try to get pregnant with the same side effects as juiceheads like us. my theory is that we are essentially PMSing.
Only one week to clear exogenous hormones? what was your cycle?
gill7712 weeks test prop 525mg a week
The clomid has a half-life of 5 days so it may be a week or more if it is the clomid causing it.
First time cycling/using clomid? Did you use any AI?
Blood work could possibly be helpful to make sure you are recovering properly and its just the pct meds causing the side effects.
Personally I get down in the middle of PCT but by the end of it where you are I am feeling pretty good.
gill77first time using clomid i usually just do nolva for 4-6 weeks then get bloods a month later. but yeah that's a good idea i'll get bloods done tomorrow just to see where i'm at. i know the numbers are not natural but as you said, i wanna see if its the clomid making me feel this way and not the possibility of low test. thanks
You should stick with what you know works, if nolva works fine then just use that imo.
Well it sounds like clomid but the bloods are great to get just for peace of mind at least. I don't get any negative sides from clomid but a lot do. Some use Toremifene instead of clomid. I have never used torem so I can not vouch for its efficacy in PCT but I will give you a good link with some good info on it. Its at least an option for you to look into for the future.
