I had the wrist one at first and it was quite inaccurate. Then I picked up this one from amazon and LOVE it!

We use the arm band in the rigs! Fuc the digital we do it the old fashiond way and the most accurate pump the ball and yada yada yada!
I observe that the bicep BP monitors seem to be more popular in my gym a good friend of mine uses one and said it was great for what you want so no doubts there the better choice for you.
Your arms aint shouldnt skinny for one to fit lol, i understand your keeping your BP in check because from knowing you personally i know there have been times whilst training with me over the past few years on and off (all be it often intense) youve experienced untoward side effects you know are to do with your blood pressure such as bursting blood vessels in your eyes, flushed skin and face unreal vascularity headaches itl be wise to keep that log and keep a check...BP probs can be dangerous as you know bro:/
think your getting unhealthy readings then go doc's
Ryt well when a check my bp am gna have my arm at the same angle every check dnt want results tht varie to much as a will be writing results down and checking back forth over a few month.i think my arms are 100 pumpd maybe 200 56too i should try out for the next hulk movie they will save a shit load on sfx lol maybe one day eh i can live in hope haha...
56tooI bought a wrist one once and ended up trashing it,and it wasn't a cheap one either. I think the bicep ones are the best but remember to get the bigger cuff as tht will mk a difference, well, unless ur arms are 14" twigs LOL
My Family Dr uses the Bicep type my Urologist uses the Wrist. I bought the wrist type and they all come up about the same. If I hold it at my chest it always comes up around the same. If I keep my arm down on the arm of the chair its higher and varies.
yea thats what i was thinking jst wanted to see who had used them and which worked better am gna put that extra coin in to stay on the safe side cheers
Its lots easier because the artery is more easily squeezed on your hunorus than on wrist hidden between two protective bones. Have a great day bro!
Arm is whats used in emt units
Those wrist ones are shit. I have used both. I made absolutely sure I used the wrist one per the instructions, just to be clear, and it was all over the place. I now have one for the upper arm and it is right in line with a manual sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.
