Trying to get my test levels measured before I start this cycle and in between but seem to have a problem with doctors willing to take me in without insurance. Do those order online testosterone tests really work?
I heard you can get a doctor online to write a script for blood work no questions asked is that also true? Is there any way to possibly get to a real doctor to do it and sit and tell me my results without insurance nowadays? Just cold hard earned cash for their time why the need for insurance and its blood work any advise helps.

AnonYour better off buying your own tests anyway. Through insurance you may get some unwanted questions about the elevated levels you are going to have.
Create an account at one of the sites that sell tests, purchase the test/tests you want, then wait a little bit. Go back to your account and print out the order, then make an appointment at one of their collection centers (search by zip code) take the printed order with you and then wait about 3 days for results. Thats it !

privatemedlabs.com .. order the female panel if money is real tight it will give you the basics .... you can always find a doctor that will read your test results without insurance but not sure why you'd wanna pay out of pocket for that when it isn't that difficult to find information to read them yourself ...

AnonI live in one of those states . I just set up an account using a friends addy from a state that is accepted. They dont ask for proof of addy and since the results are emaild it doesnt mattah

There are alternatives or workarounds for those states as I understand...hopefully he doesn't live in one of those states or there's more digging

As a workaround, some people will take a test in a neighboring state if it's convenient enough; say PA in your case - they just use a friends a addres to order. All you need is the requisition for the test at the lab, no id is checked and results are sent online.

hmmm....quite a few people on this board use privatemdlabs because 1. it's anonymous - NO QUESTIONS ASKED 2. it's reliable and does work 3. It's inexpensive 4. you get your results quickly - within 2 to 3 days. You're results are sent online as well. There are other services, but this is a popular one...the one issue is if you want exact numbers on your test levels the max they will give you is 1500ng/dl. A doctor does write a script which you will bring to a lab located near you. People use the female hormone panel because it provides FSH/LH as well as estrogen values. You are correct in not getting your insurance involved at all. You're asking for trouble if you do.
