Hey guys. Anyone knows If I draw blood in the afternoon let’s say around 2 pm would it really affect results? Thanks.
I really don’t have time to do it in the morning. I was told by clinic that I must take it in the morning for best results. I just wanted to know how much it would affect results. By the way i am recently on test and var. so it is a mid cycle blood test. Just want to check my test levels, estrogen, kidneys, liver and cholesterol.
TricepatopsIf they want cortisol they do prefer that in the morning do to the way the levels peak and decline. I had a blood test and my Endo wanted my blood test with cortisol in the morning.
If on cycle I would pretty much expect everything to be out of whack, time of day is pretty irrelevant now. Cholesterol, lipids, test are all going to be jacked for sure and out of range, especially with var in the mix. FSH/LH or going to be zero, hematocrit will likely be high, estro could be whacked depending on whether or not AI is dialed in, etc. I hope you weren't expecting anything to be in range and normal.
I get it done in the afternoon then. You are right everything will be whacked so it doesn’t really matter.
Natty test levels are always highest in the morning, but really shouldn't be to big of a deal.
RustyhookerNot that ive heard of unless youre testing igf1 or something very specific with timing needed.
TricepatopsWhat type of blood test there are more then one?
It is sports hormone blood test, 37 biomarkers tested.
