AnonSame deal here with glutes. I was thinking that it was scar tissue as I definitely put too much fluid in the glutes early on this cycle and there is certainly scar tissue in there.... try to avoid the areas you've hit repeatedly, for example I have about 4 spots I hit on each quad and I feel around for an area that isn't tight at all from a previous shot, find a spot with no veins ( visible ones anyways ), no hardness or whatever you want to call it, and pin away. No problems with quads so far and I'm doing ED with 80% or so of the shots going to quads.
Also be sure to ASPIRATE that could have been the problem as well... I've hit 2 veins already this cycle alone in the quads. Very first quad shot landed in a vein actually.
Thanks. i do pull back the plunger and.no blood came. but when you say.to.do a soft spot, i always do it where its hard to make sure it.goes into the muscle...
AnonWell your quads, if you're lean, are ALL muscle... It's all hard ( for me ) I just find the softer areas in the bulk of the muscle. I pin my quads probably 5/7 days out of the week so when I say a "hard spot" for me that means a spot that hasn't fully relaxed yet from getting pinned last time. Also there's just certain "strands" of muscle that make up the outer quad that are harder than the rest and injecting in these causes much more pip for me. This is hard to describe but would be easy to show you in person lol. It would be a very good idea to push all the way in, aspirate, then pull out about 1/8 of an inch and aspirate again... sometimes you go right through a vein, and personally I'm not comfortable pinning right next to a punctured vein. I did this just a few days ago, first aspiration = no blood. Pull up 1/8 inch as I just described and the syringe filled right up with blood... it happens.
What happens when you put it in a vein? lol
AnonYou mean what happens if you aspirate when you are in a vein or what happens if you shoot oil into a vein? Well let's just say it's pretty fucking bad to shoot steroids directly into your bloodstream, it could theoretically kill you if you were to shoot a large amount of oil. There's a reason we do this intra muscular and not intravenous.
When you hit a vein and aspirate, the syringe will ( quite easily ) start filling right up with blood... that's your cue to pull out and try another spot.
Make sure you aspirate before you inject.. I've hit a couple veins in the quads sounds like that is what happened. , there is a lot of nerves and vessels in the leg so its kind of trial and error till you find the sweet spots.
I just finished up my 3rd bag of 100 pins in the last 13 weeks, out of those 300 pins its happened probably 8 times. Its just gonna happen!
Wow. That's hardcore.. 300 in 13 weeks... (Datman bows humbly)
Haha no shit....why he's roid noid. I'm every other day and feels like a lot...f me (no homo)
Just seeing if it meant anything. Thank you both for your replies
Pull the skin tight across your leg before you pin. You won't have any liquid escape again ever.
