Blocking DHT on the scalp?
ad
Do any of you use or have you heard of this shampoo, www.testosteronehairloss.com? I have a spot on the back of my head that is thinning, not bald by any means, but have had a couple of the girls that cut my hair mention something about it over the past few months. I thought about Propecia, but would rather be bald and keep the use of my shaft, than take the chance of getting ED to keep my hair. I'm seriously considering Rogaine, but just wanted some input on it or this body builder shampoo or any other thoughts. Just wanna get a grip on it now while I still have it, ya know?

Thanks for all the input guys. Definitely gonna look up the nizoral.
Terephthalic Pt...Just noticed your name. I see you did there ;D. That's my strain.
Terephthalic Pt...What about blocking DHT on the body? I don't really think I'm at too much risk of going bald, but I freaking hate the body hair growth.
StevebWhat?
Terephthalic Pt...That was fairly straight forward.
GearofWarIn theory DHT is involved with body or facial hair growth, but as usual its all very complicated and not black and white. DHT might trigger facial/body hair to start growing but then its testosterone that keeps it growing or controls how thick it gets. Terminal hairs(long, coarse, pigmented) i.e. hair on your head are adversely affected by an excess of DHT, while Vellus hairs(shorter, typically finer) aka facial/body hair do not respond to DHT in the same manner in post adolescent years. So, no. DHT inhibitors won't stop your gnarly man jungle from taking over the lower portion of your body.
StevebDHT won't affect the hair on your body one way or the other, only the hair on your head. So what is your concern about DHT and body hair? If your DHT levels are high or low you body hair will not get better or worse.
nizoral 2%. the active ingredient in nizoral is ketoconazole which is actually an antifungal drug. however it has been shown to inhibit the 5 alpha reductase enzyme as well as cure dandruff.
I use nizoral 2% every other day, and rogaine once a day on cycle just as a precautionary measure after some slight shedding on my first cycle. I have experienced no shedding after using these products together and would recommend.
GearofWarNizoral aka Ketoconazole Shampoo will sometimes work pretty damn good for this problem as well as acne derived from DHT.
I take finasteride and use topical rogain foam for my deep widows peak. I have a script for the finasteride and it hasn't given me E.D., but I do know that some users experience that side.

StevebFinasteride will make you lose more hair if you use it while taking Deca.
Then I will stay away from Deca...I didn't know that! Good Looking Out! I would be so pissed and not know what the F was going on.
what about tren? or just deca?
StevebAs far as I know it is just Deca, and Deca stays in your system a long time.
StevebThese links should help you out. A lot of people use Topical Spironolactone but it makes you smell like a skunk or some OG Kusk.
