Advice please
ad
I started my current cycle (tbol, test e and deca) on the 16th of April. Rather unexpectedly and months ahead of time I have been offered eye surgery to remove a cataract from my right eye on the 22nd of May (the cataract developed from an old eye injury), I will of course not be able to train for a few weeks until the eye heals. My problem is that the surgery and the enforced layoff occurs at the 5 week mark at just about the time when blood levels of testosterone and deca are peaking.. Should I terminate the cycle early and restart it at a later time or just continue dosing until I am able to train again perhaps extending the cycle by a few weeks to make up for the time I will be unable to train?

X2 to all the advice below. And be thankful you'll only need to step away from the gym for a few weeks. I had massive eye trauma (gym related) last year and couldn't lift for months. It set me back big time. Best of luck w/your surgery as well.
PCT time and get blood tests and results before procedure, if your getting put to sleep everything and anything can affect the anasthetic, I'm in oz so its different I just tell the doctors what I'm on or have been on etc with no repercussions, I have had a surgery cancelled in the past due to my steroid etc use, just be cautious and careful.
You don't need eyes for a sick pump.
No but really start pct.
Yeah, stop the cycle now and start PCT. Be grateful for the opportunity to get your caderac fixed and don't risk a complete success by trying to get back in to the gym too early. The same gains will be there to be made in a few months when you are ready to go unobstructed.
Well, it all depends on how much you value your sight.
Dude just take your eyes out all together, put em on ice and continue the cycle. What are you half assing this shit for? Fuck man. No dedication...
Lol yea dude hit the breaks and get your shit taken care of. The gear isn’t going anywhere.
Abort the cycle. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Take care of your recovery man, this should be non trivial.
I highly advise to stop this cycle right now! The high blood pressure especially from deca can be really dangerous in your situation and you will endanger your recovery after surgery....
Abort cycle.
Yeah dude, take your lumps, get off, take off from the gym as well. As much as that sucks to say, you're not going to be able to do any hard training with your eye under repair. I'd avoid anything that could possibly raise your blood pressure for at least a month while your eye heals up.
AnonI'd get off the juice to let your body do it's thing, but atleast cataract surgery is an outpatient surgery so atleast you won't miss any time at the gym.
Great advice given
I'd probably stop the cycle until after your surgery and you've fully recovered .
Thanks guys for all the input and it has all been taken on board. Literally one hour after posting my original query I was contacted by the hospital to inform me that the surgeon was not available for the slot I had been offered so I was offered a new date of the 12th of June which didn't suit me as I have an exam on the 14th..trying to revise and sit an exam with only one eye and two days after surgery didn't seem viable
The final date for surgery is now the 26th of June, this will enable me to extend the cycle by a few weeks but I'll still terminate it early and start PCT to avoid any problems.
I have already been examined by the hospital to make sure I am fit enough for surgery, blood pressure etc is all good so no worries on that score (my blood pressure is always low), I will of course not train until fully recovered. I'll post a follow up in due course to let you all know how it went.
Cheers!
Your cycle has not kicked in yet and most certainly hadn't during your last physical. Your long ester will take a few weeks to get you back to normal after stopping and clomed is not going to be your friend at that time.
Ask yourself why running this cycle at this time is so important to you with so much at stake.
High blood pressure actually changes the shape of the eye causing blurred vision, age as well. Like focusing a projector which changes the distance between 2 lenses; BP changes the distance between the optic nerves at the back of the eye and the lens.
IMO it's not worth it. Maximize your health and vision recovery by letting your body be in its most natural state during and after surgery.
Let this one go. Postpone the cycle
Blood pressure can affect your eyesight. IMO, I'd stop now.
This is the first sign I get of high blood pressure.
Or dehydration
Yes an the added red blood cell count from aas can affect anesthesia, and you dont want to worry about any prescription interactions, an opportunity like this you dont waste for anabolics you can do again, esp since your so early on in the cycle, axe the cycle and take the time to heal and begin your cycle fresh and focused
