Abscess

ad

I’ve had an oil bump after my sub trt injection and I’m scared asf what should I do? I don’t have a fever or anything and feel fine j have a lump after a sub q injection to my stomach

If its just a lump/knot... those are common. They go away. If its red/hot its infected. if its not improving you should go to a walk in clinic and get some meds. If youve got a fever/temperature, thats bad seak immediate medical treatment. I went septic once from not properly treating an abcess on my ass. Ass like a grapefruit. They drained a couple hundred MLs of puss out of it. Spent a few days in the hospital.

Sounds like amputation in your near future man, sorry. Just bullshitting....your fine man. This happens a LOT with subq. Best advice... intramuscular is the only way to go for Anabolica. Sack up and pin IM going forward.

I can’t walk either for the past 5 days because of an abscess. I made a mistake and injected an oil-based substance subQ, and now I’m limping and on antibiotics. I’ve been applying antibiotic and cortisone cream compresses every day.
The pain is unbelievable. Stay strong, brother.

That sucks man. I went septic once from one of those. You should get some antibiotics if its not gettinf better.

You’ll be alright. I’ve gotten knarly infections before and never went to the ER and it all worked its self out. If you get flu symptoms like fever feeling then just run to the ER and get some Doxycycline and that will clear it up. Should be fine on its own though.

Doxycycline is something I keep on hand at all times and recommend others pinning gear do the same. Safe practice for those unexpected times. There's a domestic on here that keeps it in stock.

Just wanted to jump in on this. Great advice. Always keep Doxycycline on hand at all times. There are too many reasons to go into. Once you know, you know.

I actually want Doxycycline I will see if I can find that source. Thanks for the heads up.

I always keep some Z-Paks and doxy on hand and would say it’s good practice. They are ridiculously cheap and useful for a lot more than just skin issues! Fine for the pups in appropriate dosing too. Pretty broad infection use which can save you a TON on a trip to the doctor or vet who would’ve prescribed the same thing.

I’m allergic to cillins so that knocks out a big portion of commonly available antibiotics to me

I just ordered some Doxy, I do have penicillin on hand but thats a weaker antibiotic so having Doxy will help out if it's needed. Also Doxy will prevent the clap if you go and smash that hooker, take 200mg that same day and it prevents it.

That is why you should never inject oils subQ.
I know some dumbell TRT docs who actually advocate such childish administration techniques, but please only administer oils IM as the good Lord intented.
Oils subq will lump and lump often. Doubt this is an infection as you would know, hot to the touch, fever etc. Just going to have to wait and see. If it gets worse, then jump on some antibiotics or call your doc. Hope you feel better soon bro.

I’ve had oil bumps for up to 2 weeks recently, in chest and shoulder. These eventually Disappeared but took a couple weeks. Yes it is weird to have a lump there but give it a couple weeks and then see if it is still there. I would massage the area every day to help, maybe a heating pad would help also

I had a swollen butt before using tren suspension and ended up on a drip and catheter in hospital so watch out for swelling sweating and fever and be careful with needles always use a different one for drawing up and a clean one and swab the area these infections can kill you

All these dudes pinning SubQ cause Joe Rogan said so LOL! Jokes, but many end up doing more volume than they should and think it’s a real issue. You’ll probably be just fine.

Watch for common signs of infection. Reality is you injected oil into fat with less blood flow than if you would’ve injected IM. This can cause lumping and a slightly longer dissipation & absorption time.

I personally don’t use anything shorter than 1” as there is always less issues.

You’re likely fine. Keep a watchful eye on it and if the lump gets bigger, infected, or inflamed, consider getting it check up on.

Consider doing IM for the future, especially for oil
