  • New to the site, need advice from experienced bulkers haha

  • JHW   •   Sun, Feb 10th, '19 05:56   •   42 replies, 519 views

Hello there I am new to the community but have been scouring the site for information for a few years, best forum I have seen for a few reasons.
Anyway I have been going to gym for on and off 4 years, the past 2 years I have been consistent with training and diet, I am also on my 3rd cycle just now. Here are my stats
Height - 6ft 1
Weight - 200/205lbs
Bf - I don’t know but can barely see my abs anymore and overall quite soft .
Here is my question, I am eating 6 meals a day comes to about 4000 calories I train 4 days a week intense and shorter style training, I cannot get past 205lbs it seems without getting fatter, is this my genetic limit or do I need to take more AAS to see gains? I am constantly getting. Stronger in gym maybe stick with that before adding more calories?
If you read all that thank you for your time and please give me any advice you can, I don’t know any bodybuilders!

Going about this all wrong. I see you just getting fatter with less and less muscle. If you want to gain predominantly muscle on a bulk you need to start your bulk in lean state. Start with a higher percentage of BF and you just get fatter and not as much muscle.

https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/scientific-proof-lower-your-bf-before-cycling

Kind of wasting a cycle right now. Need to be in shape first and then start cycle if you want to maximize gains. I would lose the weight then bulk up naturally since you have alot of natty potential left and then hit a cycle to reach your goal. I would envision if you do this right you would be ready to run a cycle in 6-9 months.

ok iv read that mate, I’m not sure what body fat I am but I doubt I’m above 15percent but get that checked, makes perfect sense what your saying there, as for natural potential I doubt that very much but I could definitely get leaner naturally. Thanks for your input man I think iv got all the puzzle pieces I just need to put them in the right order if ya know what I mean.

You need to figure out your tdee and dial in your diet..then cut or bulk..you can't really have it both ways you will never get the results you want..when u bulk fat gain is inevitable..check out makwa's post on cyclic bulking..might be what your looking for

Diet and correctly balanced nutrition is the key here. Fat storage will increase when off season no matter what you do but the key is to have it under control.
I like to have an outskirts of my abs seem off season.

You need to decide whether seeing your abs or more important or if your trying to gain weight is more important. Your not going to do both if your already “quite soft.” My advice would be stop worrying about what the weight scale says for now. Honestly knowone gives a fack, it’s about looking good and feeling good. I mean it just makes no sense that your wanting to get past 205 and be chubby. It’s unhealthy for one, and two your wasting money on gear. Get your diet in check hard, you need to re-evaluate the way your doing things. I don’t like the Keto diet personally but in this situation, go keto for a month, I think it would get you to 185 and leaner. Up your cardio and abs. Once your at a low bf %, then run your cycle and continue to eat clean, and then the clean gains will appear. Know one wants to be 230lbs, 25% bf and half way through a cycle. Hope you listen before your really fat.

Did u get a little chubby to get to where u r now or were you lean the whole time? I don’t plan on getting any fatter than this haha for me it’s important to get to 230lbs

Diet and exercise will rule in your case! A strict and proper diet along with the right workout and you should see some results!

AAS with a high bodyfat are no good at all. It’s best to lean up first and then AAS help with the rest.

Try changing your routine every month. Do volume for a month and see what happens.
Change your exercises or the order you do then in.

Thank you for replying guys, i forgot to add I’m 2 weeks into 600mg test e and 50mg anadrol everyday was going to use the anadrol 2 weeks on and off through out 12 week cycle, I don’t eat any junk food 6 meals a day was eating 5 for 3 weeks before cycle but upped it to 6 last week. Iv noticed fat gain since adding in 6th meal, should I really add in more food I don’t want to get much fatter , as I said I’m getting stronger by the week but my weight doesn’t budge. I’m willing to do whatever it takes I can eat all day with my job.

Age: 25
Height: 6ft 1
Weight: 205

With those stats and you cant see your abs, you need to up your training and drop the twinkies. More gear will not help you, less junk food and more cardio/training will help you better.

Do you do cardio when u bulk? I see different theories on it if it means I can eat more and not get fat I would do it, currently just do weights and stretching. Thanks

Actually I started at 270 and 30% bf. I have to up my stats as I'm at 13%bf and 213 now. Stick with the basics.

I was too until I got older. I was 130-140 all my life until I hit 30. For one year when I was 24 I was 175 and 8%bf but that was because of prison and I ate properly and got plenty of rest.

if you want abs to go with your mass, cut those carbs down a lot more to about 250. You wont be as strong, but you will stay on top of too much fat mass easier.

For the first: I think you need more food, not more gear!

For the second: This is a totally meaningless question, if you don't post what and how much you're running actually...

Thanks for replying, I just wonder if more gear would partition the nutrients better as I seem to be getting fatter of what I’m eating

Hi man thanks for weighing in ,it’s all clean food I’m eating , i think maybe it may just be too much for me just now? Although a lot of folk saying 4000 cals is not enough for 205 6ft1. Iv been researching this all day maybe I’m eating too much fat and not enough carbs? Can you hav a look below and see what u think I’m not caring about being shredded just now I want to get bigger but it seems food mostly turning into fat ,looked bigger today in gym though as I said getting gradually stronger with steroids for sure. Going to read these articles you wrote up when I get the time tonight! Cheers
