+ 13 Creating Steroid Cycles

Most people know me for writing cycles that work. Some have asked me if there are any specific guidelines I use to write a cycle.

Here are some basics to think about when writing a cycle.

What are your goals - to lean out/ to bulk up/to wet bulk/ to dry or lean bulk etc.
What is your time frame - 8 weeks / 12 weeks/ 16 weeks / 22 weeks or 30 weeks.
What are the compounds you have access to.
What are the quantities of these compounds in total (grams or mgs)
What is your prior history to using AAS - if so do you have any sides
What are your favorite compounds of choice - are you open to using anything new?
How many days do you train - how good is your pre/post workout nutrition

Other factors I take into consideration are general experience to AAS. No point asking a first timer to combine short and long esters and throw in two orals.

By rule of thumb.

Keep your first cycle simple and easy
Run your first cycle with LONG esters
Always run your first cycle with a long ester of test
Bulking is EASIER with AAS than cutting so preferably try to bulk on your first cycle.
Don't try to achieve too many things in your first cycle. Your first cycle is all about trial - error - learning how compounds react to your body.
Understand how your diet works WITH your cycle. Acclimatize your bodies caloric needs to suit your cycle and the compounds you are using for your cycle.
Never EVER treat your body like a roller coaster. Blood levels take time to adapt so no point running an ester based hormone for a week and bump it up a few notches. What is the point?
Let your body adapt itself to exogenous supplementation slow and steady.
Remember a long ester is long for a reason. The delivery of the active is stretch over a longer time frame. Each time you run a long ester give yourself a minimum of 10 weeks. No point running a long ester for a short run and starting the PCT. Your active is still being released while you are dumping more chemicals into your body.
While using harsher compounds for the first time - start out low and work your way up. You can do more cycles and start out higher AFTER YOU KNOW HOW YOUR BODY REACTS.
Always - ALWAYS keep ancillaries at hand. Just because you didn't have estrogen conversion the first time around, does not mean your 3rd cycle will not give you gyno. Free metabolite action can never be perfectly gauged.

I can stress this enough but please don't try to accomplish too many things during one cycle. More does not mean better. Throwing in 50 different compounds is not going to do much.

A lot of people try to throw in fat burning ancillaries early on without prior experience. Imagine you have a blood condition, maybe elevated BP due to coagulation levels. You run clenbuterol and equipoise. You may not feel its effect ON cycle but you are just harming your body more and more.

A simple testosterone + equipoise cycle CAN give you as good effects if your diet and training are on perfect check as opposed to 10 fancy compounds and you not knowing what to eat and when.

Support supplements:
Just as important as ancillaries are cycle support supplements. Remember liver toxicity is both underrated and overrated in many cases. Here is a basic concept people forget, just because an oral is a methyl, the fact that it is a methyl is not what hits the liver but its ANDROGENICITY ratio. So a little research ALWAYS goes a long way.

Make sure you are taking the correct support supplements pertaining to your cycle and your basic supplements as always.

Based on my research in this subject this post seems to be full of useful information. I think its covers pretty much all to consider when coming up with a cycle except one lil thing that people like me have to keep in mind and that is ...... Funds Availability . I was on my way to ordering my first cycle a few months ago til I realized I didn't have any PCT in my shopping cart so I got what a needed and wow the cost was as much as the gear! I started to proceed because I had bought extra bit coin anyway then saw shipping charges and that took me over what I had in coin . I was going to get more coin when I got paid that Friday but got laid off that Thursday so decided I better wait.

I'm fairly new to running cycles I have only ran 2 10 week cycles of test e @ 500 mg/ week. So I'm really wanting to run a stack. I'm really going for the old school look like Bradley martyn, calum von mogur, Arnold ect. Round shoulders v taper you know the look! Anyway was curious as to what I should run. Was thinking deca test s and tren? Or should I stick to just two compounds for my first stack? Open to any suggestions.

Only introduce 1 new compound each cycle. It will allow you to know how your body responds to a compound because we all are different. There is no need for tren or deca yet bro. A good test with an oral is ideal. Either way, a test & eq cycle would be ran before deca or tren. It’s a great compound. Again though, test and an oral is your best bet!

I am looking to lean out a bit but continue to gain strength. I play sports and weight train. I have some
Experience with anabolic but never really got organized with a cycle. I'm thinking test and deca. Any pointers?

First several cycles should be test only. Stay away from deca for a while.
300-500mg a week of test-c or e, AI, and proper PCT. usually 10-12 weeks. Your diet needs to be dialed in to maximize your cycle.
Do some more research and post up what you've found. Good luck.

No. You're barely up and running at 7 weeks with a longer ester test. 12 weeks is pretty standard. Post up your proposed cycle in the cycle log, along with your diet and you'll get some good advice.

I currently have Masteton E 200mg, Eq 300mg, Deca 300mg, Test Phenyl prop 150mg and Tren A 200mg along with 100 50mg Vars. How would you recommend using this in a 10-12 week cycle?

I'm new here. Please let me know if this belongs elsewhere. But,

I have 2 Test E cycles of 12 weeks completed.

I would like to go for a short heavy cycle. I was thinking about 6 weeks of prop with another compound. My diet is good. I have been training for a long time. My current stats are 6'2" 205 lb at 13%.
I would love to go for a massive bulk. I dial my diet it perfectly because I have a wonderful woman to meal prep. Maybe not this cycle or the next, but I want to eventually be 230 @ 10%. Anyways. My question was I've read a lot about deca and don't think its for me. I've been reading a lot on dbol and was thinking about a 1-4 (5) week dbol and a 1-6 week prop cycle. I've been reading a lot more on the value of mid length cycles and think I want to use these. My main question is; could you help my plan this?

I've read lots of guys saying your test pins can be low on dbol around 250-400mg week. And I've read some guys say pin as much as you want....

Another question is pct. I've read people says its minor if at all when you cycles are 6 weeks or less. But this is my health and my gains and I want to do all I can to protect both.

A wet bulk is the process of (typically) using a longer ester compound that aromatizes into estrogen easily: hence the tendency for the body to retain water and gain fat. Examples would include dbol, deca, eq, and test e.

A dry bulk is the process of (typically) using a shorter ester compound that does not necessarily aromatize into estrogen easily: hence the tendency of the body to NOT retain water or fat. Examples would include anadrol, mast, primo, npp, test prop, and tren ace.

Of course, those two paragraphs address the difference between wet and dry whereas your training and diet will address the difference between cutting and bulking more so than the cycle alone. Keep that in mind.

If there is additional information to add to my post from a veteran member, you may want to hold out for that information as well. This is as best as I understand it and I am relatively new.

Good read, especially on the high BP and liver toxicity. Looking like a boss outside means shit if you have the organs of a corpse. Too many people don't read that page of the playbook. Over the counter liver protectant plus a weak beta-blocker like propanolol can work wonders.

I'm finishing up a cycle for a competition right now (500mg test e, 50mg anavar ED and 4mg of p tren ED) but my next cycle I wanted to do a drier bulk. I retain some water from anadrol and d Bol but overall I get lean gains from it. Now I wanted to run a 16week cycle of 500mg of test e primo 250 and 50 anadrol for 6 weeks then I do a cut for 10 at 250mg test e 250mg primobolan 50mg anavar and 4mg of p tren. I know primo is a long ester so I was thinking of running it during the bulking phase. Has anyone done a similar cycle or had exp with primo and anadrol at the same time? Any thoughts?
