There isn't much you can do to stop oral steroids from having a negative effect on lipids. Having a clean diet, high fiber intake, and supplementing with high dose omega 3 will help to an extent, but orals will still definitely take a toll on your good and bad cholesterol levels regardless.

Talk to your lipids. Tell them how you feel. Tell them they need to go down(ldl), but be realistic cause they are usually hardheaded. Be kind, but firm.

Don’t do orals. Orals have a greater probability to affect your lipids and liver enzymes.
