WORKOUT SHOES

hello everyone my name is Thor (lol) and i was wondering where's the best place to order some shoes to workout. i like the ones that look like boxing/wrestling shoes. any suggestions or websites will be appreciate it AND might be awarded with a karma point LOL......by the way, i'm poor so nothing too expensive !!

For everything but dead lifts and squats i wear Jordans. I just got these actually and love them http://www.sneakerfiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Jordan-Fly-Wade-2... and for deadlifts and squats i have to go with hightop chuck taylors...
i was going with asics first but saw the otomix and liked the look. just got them last week and i couldnt be happier. i might get a second pair
got my workout shoes in last week. those fuckers are so comfortable i even wore to take my wife out this weekend

The first time you drop a dumbell during a set of incline flys....and then it boinks off your head.....rolls down your chest.....runs over your already-shrunken balls....and smashes your big toe, you'll go for the steel-toe work boots.
I know: I watched me do it.
i have some old riding boots that i use sometimes specially in the winter time. they not steel-toe but they're still heavy duty boots. but yeah, i hope i don't drop nothing on my toes. i got pretty bad ingrown toenails

Ive heard chucks are good for deadlifts and squats but nothing is more natural than barefoot. Those shoes that mold to your feet are really the best most natural shoes u can wear in the gym even though you will get ripped on for wearing them. Best way is normal shoe because if you have those little footies and drop a weight on your foot your even more f'ed. I take my shoes off for squats and deadlifts
CleyonI resisted going to the Vibram Five Finger shoes, but now that I've been using them for a few weeks... Well I now am trying to decide if I need a second pair for everyday wear.
I'm thinking about getting some but the day I drop a weight on it its guna break fore sure

I wear different shoes depending on what im doing. For squats i have some Safe USA squat shoes. You may be able to find a good used pair on ebay or in the classifieds on powerliftingwatch.com. They are great and allow you to really sit back into your squat. If u cant find those just some good ol chucks should do.
I always deadlift in wrestling shoes. To be honest, i had a training partner who would wear ballerina slippers at powerlifting meets when he got to the deads. Funny as hell but no doubt a good deadlift footwear!
Everything else i just wear running shoes. Running shoes suck for squatting and deadlifting. They are too squishy and i feel like im standing on a mattress.

I was using chuck Taylor all stars for squats and barefooted deadlifts.
i do too. sometimes barefooted on both, deads and squats

I look on ebay and find what I want, then check same shoe on amazon.com and whichever is a better deal... Look for the shoes on a auction on ebay I've gotten a $100 pair for $60 like this before.
