+ 7 Thymosin beta-4 (TB500) Log

ad
STATS, DESCRIPTION, GOALS

Hey all,

I'm going to be logging my experiences with TB500. I have 32 mg of TB500 from purchasepeptides.

Back-story: I was in an accident not too long ago and since then I've had shoulder impingement/rotator cuff tendinitis in my right shoulder. I am also experiencing elbow tendinitis in my right elbow.

Expectations: I've read many positive things regarding TB500, so I figured it could not hurt to include in my recovery. I am taking some time off and will do physical therapy / stretching / light-weight exercise to see if I can cure my shoulder problems which have severely affected my lifting.

There remains mystery over dosing. I have not come across a set standard way of dosing TB500. Therefore, I will dose as follows.

Edit: With some advice from members here, I've decided to ramp up the dosage, at least for the loading phase.

1st Month:
Week 1-2: 8mg a week, broken up into 4 2mg shots EOD.
Week 3-4: 8mg a week, broken up into 4 2mg shots EOD

2nd Month:
Week 5-6: 6mg a week, broken up into 3 2mg shots EOD.
Week 7-8: 4mg a week, broken up into 2 2mg shots E2D.

3rd Month:
Week 9-12: 2mg every other week, at the beginning of the week.

4th Month:
Week 13-16: 2mg every other week, at the beginning of the week.

I may adjust this along the way, but that is the plan thus far. If any one has any advice, please feel free to chime in. I am hoping to resolve my shoulder and elbow issues for good. Let's see how it pans out.

-James

Hey, sent you a friend request, would like to have info on your TB500 source, cheapest price I'm finding it around the $30 range for 5mg, which is considerably cheaper than what I've been paying at my other supplier, but I'd like to check yours out. Thanks bro

Hi, I'm going to have surgery soon for a tear in my bicep tendon. I found your post and was wondering where I should pin Tb500 and how much. Just started doing research on this stuff. I heard it might help speed up my recovery. Amy advice would be appreciated.

JamesDean's picture

I would pin it right into the bicep, depending on how your bicep feels after surgery. However, I do I believe it has a systematic effect and so does not matter where you pin it. I haven't read anything that suggests tb500 will be more effective it is local to the injury site, but I pinned my shoulders and it healed my shoulders (that is just my experience, it may have worked just as well if pinned in my stomach, I have no idea).

As far as dosage, there really isn't anything written in stone. I've seen everything from loading of 2mg/week up to 14mg/week. I wouldn't hesitate to start on the higher side.

HIdeyoshi's picture

What kind of needles and what gauge do you recommend? Thanks for all your help.

JamesDean's picture

No need to go crazy. These are peptides, not oils, you can shoot them with the smallest of needles. I use insulin needles or 27 gauge needles of various lengths (5/8", 1.5", etc depending on where I'm shooting).

Awesome, thanks for all your advice. I will find outlk todday when my surgery is and will be ordering some very soon. I will let you know how it works for me.

yup. Actually started tb500 today

JamesDean's picture

I'm doing great, got much better results than I would have imagined before beginning.

My right shoulder is feeling fantastic. No longer am I experiencing shoulder impingement or rotator cuff tendinitis. It feels brand new almost, never rubs the wrong way or makes noise -- just feels smooth.

My right elbow occasionally flares up with its tendinitis, especially if I'm doing some heavy single joint exercises. But again nothing to complain about, so much better than where it was. Before it would make a good amount of exercises completely intolerable.

I should note that I have and will continue to run this at 2mg week for the foreseeable future. Certain vendors make this feasible as I've purchased 2mg vials as cheap as 13-16$.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask.

sic26's picture

You answer the most of the question I was gonna ask. I think i might try it out after I do have a little pain in my shoulder its old but its come back since I been going heavy on bench feels like its going to pop lol

Glad to hear that. sent you a FR. so you ran it for 4 months?

JamesDean's picture

The initial cycle that I laid out in this post was for 4 months, correct. At the end of that run my shoulder and elbow were healed successfully. However, even after those initial 4 months I've continued to take tb500 at 2mg/week. But the 4 months that I laid out in the original post were sufficient in healing my problems.

Accepted the FR also.

I did some math back when trying to justify a high dose front load but I didnt think it made mathematical sense, and when you reach peak blood saturation It diminishes in like 4 days So I thought It better to just run the maintence dose 2mg/ week split

KK9111's picture

Im only running 2mg. Just wanted to see how he was coming along with that brand

Thanks for the heads up! I have had a bunch of problems with my knees as a result of a motorcycle accident. I've been treating them on my own with some good success using HGH, Autologous Blood Injections, and Peptides. Once I've concluded my protocol I'll post up a write up on what I've done and the results I've gotten.

wolverinewannabe's picture

Am I reading this right? The src I looked at had 2mg vials. It seemed pricey for a single injection! Can you help me out please? Continuing research, but damn! Looks mire expensive than gear right now!

JamesDean's picture

Wolverine,

The src I use routinely runs 30% off promos to even 40% off. So, bare that in mind, I never paid the full price listed. Also, if you send me a PM, I will share with you another SRC on this board that is somewhat cheaper.

Nevertheless, it is pricey, definitely a lot more pricier than gear. But that's the pro to it, it's not gear, and you don't have to go through such extremes to heal an injured or nagging muscle/tendon/body part. If you're looking into gear, read the thread that was posted below created by Muta. You might want to give that a try.

Anyway, I hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask anything else.

Thank you for this log. It's put together very well. I'm going through the same supplier as you for my research, and I was curious to know whether you used bacteriostatic water or the NaCl solution.

*How much of bac water or NaCl did you add per 2mg dose of TB?
*Did you use the insulin syringe sub-q?

JamesDean's picture

No problem, I'm glad to help. I used Bacteriostatic water. And since my vials were 2mg and I was using them all at once, I only reconstituted with about .30-.50ml or Bac water.

I used a 5/8" needle and I would inject into the problem sites (ie, in my delt for shoulder problem and in my bicep for my tendonitis problem.) I don't think anything suggests that this is more effective, but I figured it couldn't hurt. I did do a few injections sub-q as well with an insulin needle.

Hope this helps!
Cheers

TB-500.com claims MediVet is the "sole exclusive manufacturer of TB-500". Is this true, and if so, why is it available everywhere?

Just checking before I purchase through PurchasePeptides.com, as I want to ensure my research is done properly and with purity. PurchasePeptides does not offer a COA or any proof their peptide is what they claim it is. There's no way of knowing the purity or verifying TB-500 is the actual peptide as labeled.

JamesDean's picture

Have you asked PurchasePeptides for a COA? Maybe it isn't available on their website, but I would be surprised if they did not have one to provide. They're well rated on these boards and from my personal log I can vouch that the TB500 is good to go.

JamesDean's picture

Update time: Sometimes no news is good news. Nothing new to report fellas, elbow still feels fantastic, and my shoulder continues to improve everyday. Along with my outlined TB500 dosage above I am taking BPC-157 200mcg/day. Amazing peptides.

bigchips27's picture

Thanks for such a good log, I was contemplating the use of tb500 when I hurt my rotator cuff last year. But I came across to many conflicting posts(dosing, length) so I ended up just working thru it and rehabbing it myself. Thanks to ur log ill know if I ever have a problem in the future. +1

JamesDean's picture

Glad to hear you rehabbed the shoulder. Shoulder trouble truly sucks and is very limiting, but I'm on my way back my shoulder has never had a better range of motion so I am very optimistic.

And no problem for the log, I'm glad to be able to contribute in some way. There isn't much in terms of studies regarding these peptides, certainly not tested on humans. So, the only way we will know what works and what doesn't is to try it ourselves and report back our results.

JamesDean's picture

Hey All,

Got some updates for ya'll.

More good news since I reported 2 weeks ago. But I'll start by saying that last week I began to incorporate BPC-157 into this cycle as well to see if it would help my shoulder. I've been dosing BPC-157 at 200mcg a day.

As I mentioned back then my right elbow tendinits had disappeared. The results have remained, there hasn't been any bit of discomfort or pain for the past 2-3 weeks now. Amazing, I'm still in a bit of disbelief that it was cured so quickly. The elbow was driving me absolutely nuts.

2 weeks ago I reported that my right shoulder getting better and stronger. This trend is continuing. Through stretching and resistance band training my range of motion continues to improve. I can reach parts of my back that I have never been able to reach. Stretching no longer causes any real discomfort Next challenge will be to incorporate weights and see how it feels.

Thus far I am extremely satisfied with the results I've obtained on this TB500 log. I've noticed a decent bit of improvement in my shoulder ever since incorporating BPC-157, so I wonder to what affect BPC-157 has played. Maybe the two together have a synergistic effect? Anyway, I can't recommend these two peptides enough. They should definitely be in your stack if your looking to recover/rehab an a nagging injury.

Cheers fellas!
