Help with bloodwork

ad

Here’s my labs after being on test C 300mg a week since June 8th. My question is should I be taking an AI to control my estrogen? I’m not getting any sides at all but the number seems wicked high. I have an AI on hand so I can start it asap if I need to.

Ordered from:

1) Adjust injection frequency, that alone can fix the high E2 number on paper.
2) Don’t throw medications at it, just supplements IF ANYTHING.
- Calcium D-Glucarate 1500mg
- DIM 300mg

Just those two things should keep everything in check, but keep in mind that E2 at 300 mg of test is normal. Just gauge side effects and throw in low dose AI when they start to present themselves.

Id be curious to see numbers from a serum draw vs rhythm. I just like to see the comparisons

But as others have said, we cant look at lab numbers alone.

Yea that is a good question, what kind of differences there is between the two. I hear it’s nearly identical but I’ll look into getting some actual serum draw bloodwork done and I’ll post a number comparison

Ive seen it real close for some people and way off for others. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why

@Bodhi said it best!

Also I want to know is this 300 mg a week a cyclic value, or do you consider this number to be your “cruise”?

I’m hitting a cycle then I was gonna drop to more of a cruise dose

Wicked, huh? Boston?

Why do you think you need an AI?

Numbers don’t treat patients, symptoms do. Chasing a lab value instead of symptoms is how people end up crashing their E2.

An estradiol of 85 on 300 doesn’t surprise me one bit. Some guys feel awful at 50, others feel great at 100. If you’re not dealing with nipple sensitivity, problematic water retention, elevated BP, mood changes, or sexual dysfunction, I wouldn’t add an AI just because the app highlighted the value in red.

Remember, the reference range is based largely on men who aren’t injecting testosterone. The goal isn’t to win the lab report, it’s to feel good and stay healthy.

Haha no, but close to New England though. I honestly wasn’t sure, this is my first “cycle” and I just seen the numbers and wasn’t sure if it was good or if it’s something I had to look at. I feel great and everything’s going good. I appreciate the advice, I need all the advice I can get.

I wouldn’t take an AI, especially if you don’t have symptoms. I did when I first started and felt like shit with my estrogen crashed. Feel alot better off the AI

Awesome thank you. I feel good but the number had me wondering if I should address it

Depends... How do you feel? Mine can run into the low hundreds before it bothers me but everyone is different. Estrogen isn't necessary a bad thing unless its causing issues.

I feel great, no issues at all. Everything seems to be doing alright, I was just unsure if it’s something I needed to take care of.
