Honestly pal that's what this all feels like currently - FUCKIN BULLSHIT and like its not real. When I'm in this gym I joined, its got 3 deadlift wooden stations, squat racks and about 5 bench stations - its amazingly well equipped. But its full of fuckin kids walkin around as if they are Hardcore motherfuckers all giving me the 'look' because they just benched 185 whilst I'm resting on the leg press seat LOL Fucks me right off
185! That’s 100lbs shy of man level. Fuck kids. They ruined my gym experience. I ended up taking over a room in my house and half the garage and slowly over the years got equipment and pretty much have everything a normal gym has except 2000lbs of plates and tanning beds. I got so sick of the wanna be kids. Funny thing is if you stay at the gym long enough only one out of every hundred will be there in 6 months and 1 out of every 500 in a year.
Ohh yeah pal for sure - its a fad thing for the internet. I keep seeing them come in dressed head to toe in all the workout gear, better than what I have on LMAO First thing they ALL do is head to the incline smith machine and do endless reps with fuck all on the bar even after warming up. Because its late at night and virtually no one in I've nearly approached a couple of em to try help them out and point them in the right direction of how to do things properly and gain some muscle which is clearly why they are in there. But I never really know how I will be met or if they will whip out the camera phone and start Live streaming me saying this Old man in the gym is trying to molest me LMFAO
Don't get me wrong, its great having all the extra gear in there I have no access to at home and to be able to do accessory work for bench and deads once I am better again - BUT I'm sorry man, I STILL love training at home in my own space taking as long to rest as I want. Being able to make a drink or watch TV if I want to and not feeling like I'm being watched by at least one other person whilst I am lifting (which you always are). The experience for me is just 10 times better and more satisfying.

Its like the Awkward moment I had a few days ago where there were 3 of us in the same area - I'm using the hammer row machine, another is doing weighted chins and another doing deadlifts. We all kept hitting the same rest period and no one knows where to fuckin look without feeling awkward. So you have to either get your phone out or stare blankly into another area such as a dumbell rack LMAO
