+ 17 It’s Not The Gear, It’s You

ad

I’ve been on these forums and others like it for a little over a decade and through all the changes in compounds, sources, and scientific revelations, one thing always remains constant:

People lack accountability.

If you’re 19 and having a hard time growing, it’s 99.999% of the time NOT because you have low test. You just have need some Food Enanthate.

If you’re 9 weeks into a test blast and failing to see continued progress, you don’t need to drive up the doses. You need to drive up the intensity of your workload.

If you’ve been cutting for six months and don’t see tangible progress, you don’t need to add tren ace. You need to subtract more calories.

I think gear is great, but it’s only one useful tool in an otherwise full tool belt. If you’re not continuing to support and maintain all of your other tools, you’re only fucking yourself.

Problem with many folks is they would rather go to the drive up then drive up the intensity. Them Golden arches look more like a fat ass

Biggest game changer for me and I wish I could tell my younger self - eat more protein. Last year I made the most gains at 2.5 lbs of meat a day (5 1/2 servings) this year starting 3lb of meat a day (6 1/2lb meals). Let’s fucking go. That being said high test has also been a game changer lolllllll

This is definitely not said enough. I know several guys who want to increase doses while their diets are shit. People need to realize that it is more than just take gear and hit the gym.

This is why there are so many steroid “influencers.” Diet and proper training are very simple and there is no magic besides execution. To play devil’s advocate, we are all members of a site called eroids because we are interested in gear.

Gear helps but you need the raw materials to grow. Diet is by far the hardest part about this.

You are 99% right the only reason I say that is because I had come to a plateau of weight loss from heavy calorie restriction and intense workload I had bloods taken and seen I had heavy insulin resistance. Now I was doing IMF which had shown signs of repairing insulin sensitivity but for me that wasn’t the case and I started Reta at .5mg which completely reversed it for me and the weight started falling off super fast. But the key to all of this is minimum effective dose I didn’t need 12mg of Reta to get the results I needed because I was firing on all cylinders everywhere else.

All of what you say is true. The guys who are 170lbs and looking to start an elaborate blast get me every time, they just need to eat.

As for myself, in December after 2 months of dieting I wanted to try tren for the first time. Was advised otherwise, 7 months later and I'm still dieting but now at around 7% and still haven't used tren. Will be keeping that in the toolbox for prep next year.

If you remain consistent, you can achieve your goals.

My favorite is when posts start off “Diet and training are locked in”. 99% chance you aren’t as locked in as you think.

I see it more and more everyday, not just here, but in the gym, and talking to dudes. Seems like a lot, especially the younger crowd, want a magi pill. The kinds nowadays, if they don’t see results almost instantly, there’s something wrong, or they want to jump on gear, thinking that’s gonna yield magical results. Ya gotta put in the work and be patient, the results will come, if works out in. I think this is a byproduct of current times we live in, EVERYTHING is so abundant, readily available and available with the snap of an electronic device that it has hindered the mindset. 10-20 years ago, I know it wasn’t this bad, I hate to say it, but it will only get worse as times, technology, peptides advance. Everyone wants what they want, and they want it now! So much truth in your post.

@TeaBody man I’ve been on a cut for a minute and really strict with foods and calories, but just that last little bit was holding the hell on, like @shredski said, I started .5mg Reta and this shit is melting off with a calorie deficit and a shit ton of work. That’s key, gotta put in the work also.

As crazy as this sounds, I don't think I'm eating enough. I've been on reta for about 4 weeks now, maybe 5. Ive been lifting 5-6 days a week, I dont eat garbage.. I have definitely noticed I'm getting bigger, stronger, and more vascular but this tummy just keeps hanging around. It does get "softer" each week though, which is "supposed" to mean its breaking down, not sure how legit that is and my waste is shrinking, so I am making improvements.
