Hey shake… you’re an older guy, right? I recall you being in the 4s. If I’m incorrect, I apologize.
My broscience goes way back. I’ve never tried anavar before. It was always dbol or adrol. They also had me using 18g needles for shooting. Back then I was told the gains weren’t worth the money and I’ve held that belief ever since.
What I’m assuming is that in older age, the modest gains are worth the modest harshness. And so maybe anavar is more popular with us older folk? Kinda like Primo?
Am I way off here? Can you share your experience with me?
38 here, recently added 50mg anavar for the last 6 weeks of my cycle, about 3 weeks left to go. This is my first run with it, but im definitely enjoying it. Strength has been modest but noticable, and the pumps are fuckin nuts. BP has been fine, but im interested to see what it does to my bloodwork at the end. Depending on what my bloodwork looks like will determine whether or not I will run it again. It's fun, but not die early fun lol. Running a modest (i think) 400 test 300 mast p cycle that's coming to an end soon.
Im 40 buddy. I think there quite a few of us around the same age here. I think @randomdude is like 62 or some shit.
Among the guys around my age, I see all different kinds of shit being used, with varying degrees of success. And most guys wont come on and say they are having a hell of a time with something, they just won't say anything. It's either good news, or no news. But I know for sure of two guys on here around my age that had bad problems, and one of them is dead.
In both cases they each had co morbidities (one was fat, and one was a lifetime alcoholic who traded in the booze for gear). So it's hard to say that gear did em in, but I'm sure a reckless lifestyle PLUS gear is extremely plausible for being the culprit.
All that to say that I prefer to keep things on the mild side. so things like dbol, adrol, eq, tren etc aren't things id mess with. Just my opinion.
Definitely not saying anavar is safe or tbol is safer than dbol, they just seem to not get my blood pressure into the stratosphere.

I don’t do hard drugs or drink. It’s roids only for me. I eat healthy 90% of the time. When I don’t, it’s something like pizza. I don’t drink soda. I’m generally very healthy.
But I do abuse the roids.
The cycles I’ve posted aren’t even my full cycles.
Maybe it’s time to back off a little. Idk.

Just like smoking or drinking the damage adds up over time. You can cruise with test that’s probably the equivalent of some beers on the weekend or you can go hard with compounds that are probably equivalent to smoking a pack a day and having a 12 pack everyday.
I’m well aware I run compounds at higher than necessary levels or even run unnecessary compounds. I’m in my experimental phase (steroids, gay sex, etc).
Just curious what I can and can’t handle. Won’t always run gear like that. Just trying it all out while I’m still young enough to.
Maybe it’s taking some years off my life or maybe it’s not.
Not sure why I decided to post this. Maybe I want you guys to know I’m self aware? Staying with low risk compounds is smart young or old. They are proven to work great and you get the same gains without the extra risk.

The only reason the old school guys called Anavar a ladies steroid or said it was worthless was literally because it’s such a well produced compound that even at 50mg/day there’s basically no negative sides except lipid changes. And even that is very individual person to person. Back in the day If a steroid didn’t bloat you up like a balloon in three days, not let you sleep, and didn’t give you 210/150 BP it wasn’t “worth” their time. As we see now all those guys are gone, unfortunately. Anavar is like test, highly tolerated and produces substantial tissue over time with very little sides. A staple compound that we now know can basically be run year round with any cycle.
Is it any more effective than running higher doses of test or another anabolic though? Lipids can recover but I'm more concerned about kidney health with var. Not much experience with it. I almost feel like if you're not competing the orals aren't worth it
I’m of the belief that it’s more effective assuming you’re topped out at your highest dose of testosterone you can handle health wise. The kidney health issues seem to be very blown out of proportion when it comes to healthy individuals using Anavar, most instances of kidney issues are seen in individuals who already have underlying health issues and/or do not take care of their health in the slightest. Kidney markers rarely have moved on bloodwork for myself and my clients in dosages ranging from 2.5mg/day all the way up to 50mg/day. Most orals are “just for fun” or for competitive edge like you said, the only exception in my opinion is in fact Anavar because of its ability to be run for so long. It won’t be anywhere as extreme of a change in body composition like superdrol would be but 10mg var per day for your next cycle in my opinion, well worth the extra muscle tissue gains assuming bloodwork continues to come back good.
