I’m due a raise but we haven’t signed our contract yet. We never have one signed on time.
I somehow ended up on our negotiating committee. Had our first meeting this week. Our contract isn’t up until January 1st. I guess we’ll see how much the company dicks around come September when negotiations are supposed to start.
We go 2 years like fucking clockwork without a contract. We always sign 3 year deals so spend two years under the old contract, back paychecks are always due, and always fucked up. Get the deal signed then it’s time to start negotiating again in 9 months. Just a giant circle jerk of stupidity.

It’s insane. One of the guys at my gym asked me what’s the longest you ever gone without a contract? I’m like 2 years every time. He’s like “are you serious?!” I think he said the longest they’ve gone was 72hrs.
