+ 4 IGF-1 Bloodwork After 2 Weeks (4 IU) – Godtropin Review

ad

IGF-1 (Somatomedin-C) lab drawn 3/30/26 after ~2 weeks on 4 IU/day (AM). Result came back at 312 ng/mL (reference range 72–228), clearly elevated and consistent with active, properly dosed GH. This was pulled early to confirm product potency, IGF-1 levels typically continue to rise and reach a more stable peak around 3–6 weeks of consistent dosing, so this is likely still on the rise.

nice! how many weeks in before labs? these labs for me are only 2 weeks in with no previous gh use.

I also took my labs at two weeks in, but not the same product you’re using. Those are still good numbers. Definitely working.

Brother with IGF-1 Level like that did you have any carpal tunnel? Or water retention in your hands or anything negative?

Serious question, is it the igf-1 level itself that induces the carpel tunnel symptoms or is it just correlative with the elevated growth hormone? My natural igf-1 came back at 341 when I was in my mid 20s. If I were to use say 2iu of GH and bump my igf-1 that high again like when I was younger would the symptoms come or not? Sorry for the long question, just made me think.

just my two cents.. it’s more GH-driven than IGF-1 itself. The carpal tunnel-type symptoms (tingling, numbness, hand pressure) are mainly from GH’s effects on fluid retention and soft tissue swelling, not just the IGF-1 number alone. IGF-1 is more of a marker of activity, but GH is what’s causing the sodium/water retention and tissue expansion that compresses the median nerve. That’s why you can have naturally high IGF-1 (like your 341 in your 20s) and feel totally fine, but get symptoms when using exogenous GH at a similar IGF level.

So even if 2 IU puts you back around that same IGF-1 range, you could still get some mild sides just from the pharmacologic GH exposure..though usually dose-dependent and manageable.

Very minimal water retention/carpal tunnel early in the morning then goes away for most of day until right before bed. Nothing too crazy though.

Thanks for sharing. What is the highest you’ve seen your IGF-1 get? I hit 526 recently. Felt amazing but not sure it’s good long term.

Nice, that’s a solid number. This is actually my first time running GH with labs, so 312 at ~2 weeks on 4 IU is my current reference point. From what I’ve seen, IGF-1 can keep climbing and usually stabilizes more around weeks 3–6, so I’ll probably recheck later to see where it settles.

526 is definitely up there, you’ll feel great at that level for sure. Long-term though, I’d probably aim to keep it more in the upper-normal to moderately elevated range rather than pushing it that high continuously, just to stay on the safer side. For me personally, long-term I want to keep below 400.

My reading of 526 was at 4iu at about 8 weeks in.

Good to know! Thank you for sharing, so theoretically 3iu might be the sweet spot I'll stick with for the long-term.
