+ 1 Bloods and backstory

ad

Just showing my short TRT journey so far. Back in Sept of last year I was feeling low T symptoms and was referred to an endocrinologist. She did test my levels and when it came back at 385 she told me to not get too hung up on the numbers and I never heard from her again. So I decided to take it into my own hands. I started enclomiphene at 12.5 EOD, moving to 12.5 ED after 4 weeks and it took my number to 711. I was still not feeling good though and ended up moving to Test C at 200mg per week pinned every other day. I also added in 260 hcg three times a week to keep my balls from shrinking. After my next tests total T was up over 1600 so I backed down to 180mg a week and also the hcg to twice a week. With my last set of tests the total number has come down to a little over 100, but I feel great. My wife for sure comments on my libido and tells me some days to just go take care of myself. I guess I've woken her up in the middle of the night too many times.

Recently I took an IGF-1 and insulin test and after those results have added in HGH at 2iu per day. I started with grey market, but I have some K4L on the way so I'll switch to that one it arrives. Lastly I also started NPP at 100mg a week pinned at the same time as the test c. Really just hoping for joint relief given my age and how my body complains.

Open to any suggestions or criticisms, I'm still very much early in the process and hoping to learn from all the OG's here.

Thanks for your time!

Personally I would not suggest running NPP year round with trt. It seems you are pulling good numbers with whatever Test C your running. Have you tried other options for joint stiffness like glucosamine/fish oil before hopping on NPP? Always remember to treat your body and especially your heart with care. That is the most important thing you can do. At 52, make sure your getting your cardio in....if not daily, at least 3-4 days per week. Take care of your heart and your heart will take care of you.

Good advice, so far I've set a reminder in 8 weeks to see how I feel. I will look into your suggestions. As for cardio, I'm at 4-5 days a weeks right now. 2 days of flat walks around my neighborhood at a good pace and 2-3 days at the gym on a treadmill at a 12 degree incline. Appreciate the advice

Are you into cycling? I find cycling very effective and enjoyable. Great cardio and you can jump back n forth from intense to resting to intense again etc...
Funny story, I was working in the congo a couple years ago and decided one morning I was going to go cycling thru these trails in a rainforest by our camp. I came across some poachers and they looked at me like I was insane which is true from what I'm told lol. Anyway, they came after me with machetes. I rode just fast enough they were close behind me and circled around because I knew the area really well and popped back up by our camp which was tucked away covertly in a grove. Let's just say that's where the chase ended lmao!

That's quite a story, I think I'm scared to cycle now. Actually I don't have a bike, but have been thinking about starting swimming. I swam a lot when I was young and would like to start it again

Yeah bro...I've got some crazy stories from places over the years. What's even funnier is it was a bmx style bike a local gave me I was just cruising thru a rainforest in the middle of nowhere lol.
Swimming is a fantastic idea brother. Full body cardio. Your exercising every muscle in your body. I'd say that's perfect. Not much of a frogman myself....they like to tease me because I sink like a rock. I'll put everything I have into it and they'll just glide by me like I'm a 5 year old lol.

Imho I see you've organized everything optimally, If I were you I would continue running blood tests to verify that what you're taking isn't fake and isn't damaging your health. Looking at your baseline IGF-1, with 2 IU you should get roughly around 250-300.

Thanks brother, that's about my plan. Keep at what I'm doing and adjust per my next blood tests. Hoping to see that IGF number pop up to about 250
