This only happened to me when I jumped doses dramatically, I think with a proper titration mitigates side effects. I went back down from 12mg to 8mg and it went away.
Frick bro I’ve been only on 1mg for the last 3 weeks. I dropped down to single body fat percentage than it got way worse. It feels like extreme sunburnt and I can barely sleep haha. I think it’s time to prolly just get off and maintain sadly.
This is a known rare side effect for some on Retatrutide from the phase 3 trials. Unfortunately some get it and don’t tolerate Reta.
Wow just from 1mg? Haven't heard of that happening thats rough. I think thats low enough a dose if you just ride it out It should subside after a couple more weeks. Mine was never that bad just felt like a mild case of sunburn where it was more so just annoying.

Zinc Picolinate will clear it up in a couple days. I was at the highest dose of Tirzepatide when I switched to Retatrutide so I immediately went to 6mgs weekly. I got allodynia (skin sensitivity) pretty bad but I came across Zinc Picolinate online as a cure. The reasoning was the glucagon activation causes a zinc deficiency. I don't know if that's true but it works. Now I recommend it to everyone when they start Retatrutide.

Had a buddy swear by taking Claritin 12 hour twice a day for Reta sensitivity. I tried it and didn’t notice a change. It eventually settled out for me and would only come back for a few days if I upped the dose. I just took it as it working.

U gotta titrate down from it drop ur dose a mg a time every 2 weeks then come off and no rebound!
This hasn't been tested yet in pharmaceutical studies. Currently the prevailing thought is if the same biological stressor exist that were there prior to the GLP1 then yes inflammation will get worse again. But usually people have lost weight have somewhat better insulin sensitivity and in general are in better health so inflammation should be better too. But who knows, we need data.

Any of the GLP-1 drugs you’ll have your appetite return after awhile. That’s why properly addressing whatever issues one has with over eating is very important to figure out while on it. Not sure about the inflammation part. Hopefully someone else can comment as well.
