+ 8 DHB Blood Work for you DHB fans!!
Here is my recent blood work on a cycle of DHB minus the estrogen, test levels and IGF 1, they are not in yet. I am a huge fan of DHB and some nay sayers say it harms your liver. Well for me it had zero effect on the liver.
Lipids have always been high its hereditary and I will be going on meds for it. The Reta has it somewhat lower for now, I have bloodwork proof that reta lowers lipids.
The kidneys, well I think the gym is actually making it high because it was about the same as when I was not on DHB but been hitting the gym hard. If you know of any supplements that helps the kidneys I am all ears.
Cycle current: Started on October 20th, 2025
300mg DHB
350mg Test mix of P and C and E
200mg Primo
3.5mg of Reta

Someone that takes Telmisartan dm me please. Got a question. Hard to find domestic...or atleast a good quality brand
Add and dm bro I got you
Anyone looked into Pielotax for Kidneys. Russian created. People also take L-Glutamine, Grape seed extract, Pine Tree extract.
Im going to give Pielotax a go for a 2 month treat to see if it does anything for my numbers.
Thanks for sharing. This is all good information to see/read.
42 t3 uptake is wild, are you taking t3?
Nope not sure what made that go up it's the first time I have had it so maybe DHB or Primo.
makes sense—high T3 uptake without actual T3 supplementation is classic on stronger androgens. They tank TBG levels, freeing up more thyroid hormone, so the uptake percentage shoots up even if total T3/T4 are normal. either way, I guess it's a pro T3 will get you shredded bra
I believe it because since I have started DHB, I have gotten a lot more shredded my buddy was in shock when he seen me he hadn't been around for a month or so.
Test Cystatin C asap. I’d even recommend dropping the DHB, your kidneys are getting fucked.
So there is some peole that talk about how DHB dehydrates you thus causing Creatinine to go up thus causing eGFR to go down. I think there is something to this along with when you have bloodwork done. Mine was at 49. My Cystatin C was ok though. Given I did bloodwork at 8am after Leg Day and being dehydrated. So many people believe well if you did bloodwork later after being fully hydrated numbers would be diff.
When doing a Blood Test - I have learnt to always give it 3 days rest beforehand with ZERO training, this will generally allow you to be fully hydrated, ALT and AST to be settled and try to be off Creatine also as Creatinine is the By product of Creatine - preferably be 2 weeks off it to allow it all to clear from your system. Also don't be chugging down protein shakes before you go on the day as this increases Creatinine levels too, I would ideally not have one the night before bed also. I am sure some will say this is being over cautious with things - But if you want your Bloods to be as accurate as possible then this is the best way to do things. I have seen significant differences in my bloodwork when doing this in Liver and Kidney markers.
hey press1, I am curious as to this approach. I've had blood tests in the past and never made these considerations other than to not train 24hrs before. correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't it be better to stick to your normal routine to get an accurate representation of what is going on inside you on a daily basis?
I'm on cruise right now (125mg test e) and have bloods booked in for next month so I'd like to know your reasoning if you don't mind. I am happy to apply this to myself and then do the same midway through my next blast (for which I was considering dhb hence me noticing this thread) but basically as I said above wouldn't it be wise to see what your "actual" blood looks like on the day to day?
Yeah I am almost certain that the creatine levels is from the protein I take and being dehydrated which I was because of work and lab timing and because of working out at the gym. I ordered the other test and will do it Monday.
I can confirm that DHB does indeed dehydrate you, I am constantly thirsty and wake up in the night with dry mouth. It did the same thing to me when I was on Tren.
Agree 100%
Calculated eGFR tests are useless. This is roughly what my eGFR is on all my bloodwork. Cystatin C test showed an eGFR of 95.
Not saying you’re wrong in what he should do to verify but the statement of “your kidneys are getting fucked” is presumptuous. No need to fear monger without the proper data to draw a conclusion.
I guess your are ignoring the high BP, and high creatine with the high HCT besides the low ejection fraction but it’s fine. I just don’t wanna see a fellow member here getting fucked. Sorry if I came in a little aggressive with my comment.
I didn’t see anything about his BP numbers at first. I see below he’s slightly elevated but not at a point to be acutely damaging to his kidneys. His HCT isn’t wild. That’s what folks who live in Denver walk around with daily. Around 55 for males.
Again I agree with you 100% that seeing those results should have instantly initiated a Cystatin c test. It’s what it did with me. I just think we shouldn’t be so quick to tell someone they’re dying without all the data (hyperbole to make a point I know you didn’t say that he’s dying). Proper data at that.
I will also say folks in this world always just look at liver and say “see it’s fine” and ignore the kidneys. The liver can regenerate from substantial abuse. Kidneys should be talked about/protected more than they are. No one wants to be on dialysis.
It's ok I can take bluntness I dish it out myself. I will take care of the HCT I will go donate I have to anyway when I use Test and I have been cruising on it before now. That is about as high as it goes though. I just ordered a Cystatin C and will have it done Monday just to be sure.
Glad to see you following through with it homie. There's a good chance you're right, I tend to have a 40 point differential from cystatin-c to creatinine eGFRs, but you definitely want to make sure that's the case.
Good bro. Let’s us know when you get the results. Keep hydration high and maybe consider some telmisartan in the future. It will help with these issues.
Okay brothers, I do not know a whole lot about this Cystain C test what do you all think I posted the results above. I will discuss with a doctor after the holidays as I am going to be going on meds for the Lipids.
Yea only thing to do now is drop the DHB, wait a little, and retest. To see if it’s the DHB or something else. You might have some underlying issue. That result isn’t alarming, per se but it’s low enough to cause pause and evaluate.
Yeah I have a lab from January 2025 where my creatine was normal so now I am questioning is it the DHB or the Primo. I dont think testosterone would effect it at all but I could be wrong.
It's not the DHB man, I have labs that are the same without DHB, it's just creatine and dehydration and hitting the gym can elevate that. I will make sure with a Cystatin C when I see the doctor so insurance will pay for it. I took a Urine test a while back and it was clean no proteins.
Bro just go do it don't be an ostrich. $40 not going to break the bank, but dialysis will. Saying you had a shit eGFR already is not the excuse you think it is. You want to live this lifestyle then you need to live it.

That is cheap when I looked on Quest they wanted $300.00. I dont like lab corp but maybe I will use them just for this.
$30 on GoodLabs through quest.

Look up Astragaloside IV, for me it works much better than regular Astragalus root for Kidney support. Have tried both. My creatinine improved from around 1.2 down to low 90's. Also improved my egfr#'s. Its more pricey than regular astragalus. So it may help with your next blood work. For lipids, use Citrus Bergamot, Berberine, Cardarine, Cialis, fish oil.
Thanks man I will look into this.
Brother I highly recommend you get a follow up cystatin-c test done very soon to get a better look at your kidneys. Creatinine can be unreliable, but you don't want to bank on that and just hope it's all good. Cystatin-c is very kidney specific and will give you an accurate picture of how your kidneys are actually doing. How is your BP? That is a top kidney killer as well.
For supplementation: Astragalus 3-6g daily, Chanca Piedra, Tudca, Telmisartan can all help, but seriously check on that cystatin-c. Kidneys don't bounce back like the liver does don't want to be playing with them.
Those lipids definitely need some work. Get on the meds and cut out all saturated fats.
When I go see the Doctor I will have him check into the kidneys as well. I did a urine test a while back and it was all good.
I do have high BP and last time I was at the doctor he told me he wasn't worried enough to put me on meds for it. I will have them check it all again and talk with them. My BP was 135/73 when I took it yesterday.
Appreciate you sharing brother <3
