Experience with cardarine?

ad

Okay, so cardarine is actually a PPAR (Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors) but normally grouped with SARMs. Most SARMs are pretty pointless when you have access to real AAS, but cardarine has unique uses and can be a great addition to your cycle. I am currently running cardarine for fat oxidation and to combat tren lung. Cardarine reportedly helps tremendously to turn fat into fuel and helps your body use fat as energy instead of using carbs first. It also has a huge effect on endurance/cardio, and I’ve recently learned it can help when running tren. I’ve been getting out of breath just carrying groceries into the house AND even worse, huffing and puffing during intercourse (still train and fuck like a motherfucker though), so I’m trying to combat that and be able to do at least a little cardio. I’m currently taking 10mg at night. Going to stay at 10mg at night for a while and see how I do. I ran it before and was taking 20mg in the morning pre-workout, but I was becoming lethargic and oddly apathetic towards training and life in general. Although I live life not giving a fuck about most things, I love my family, training, and making money, and cardarine was making me not care about any of that. Can’t live like that. Anywho, I just started recently and wanted to see if anyone’s had any success running it with tren and if they’ve noticed a difference in breathing and cardio (training, humping, all the good stuff), what dose, and what time of day they take it. Appreciate any input.

I ran Cardarine GW501516 at 20mg/day last year to try and get some cardio/fat loss gains and it raised my AST/ALT to dangerously high levels after only 5 weeks.

For reference, I’ve ran anavar/tren for extended periods many times throughout my life and never had elevated liver values.

Needless to say I dropped the compound immediately and never looked back. After some TUDCA and NAC my levels came back down to the normal ref range.

Wouldn’t recommend Cardarine GW501516

I always advise against taking cardarine. Human equivalent dose that caused cancer in rodents is 45mgs.

Ppar over expression is great for lipid metabolism, horrible for longevity. Every study we have to date looking at ppar over expression and its functions lead to cancer development and rapid growth.

We have multiple studies on human thyroid cell lines showing rapid cancer development when exposed to Cardarine.

It’s just not worth the risk in my opinion. This is coming from someone that used to love taking it. I spent dozens of hours diving deeply into what ppar is actually doing in the body and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. When it’s overexpressed for long durations it becomes a bad thing.

Sackbird's picture

The amount it would take for a human to take the equivalent dose as they were giving mice that were getting cancer is absurd. I stopped taking it pretty quickly because it makes me extremely lethargic and apathetic, but the studies they did on mice were short lived and ridiculously high doses. Anything can be fatal at a high enough dose.

The human equivalent dose is 45 mgs. Thats about double what humans usually take. Super dangerous in my opinion.

exoticnfit's picture

Incorrect.

Cardarine has gotten a bad wrap based on misleading information from its inception.

WADA put it on its list based on the fact that it may cause carcenogenisis. GSK did the tests on the rats.

The rats were OVERKILLED with the dosage used.

It would take about 900mg/day to do a proper comparison for a human subject that weighed 200lbs. That dose is clearly insane when we know the average person is using about 20mg/day for excellent results!

You would need to take over 14000mgs of Aspirin in reference to that same 900mg/day dosage.

I'm confident that the large majority on here have no interest in taking that much aspirin (which will KILL YOU immediately, much less just cause cancer) and thus likely no where near that 900mg/day dose of Cardarine.

This research is easily found and it is 20x higher then the dose you mentioned, which is much more accurate.

Sackbird's picture

@PaintDrinker except for the amount of paint you would need to drink to be fatal. Probably not too much lol. Just playing with you homie.

Update: even at 10mg I’m getting lethargic and apathetic. I usually train Monday-Friday. I took off Tuesday and Wednesday this week and had shit workouts yesterday and today. So, needless to say, I stopped the cardarine. Has anyone gotten these side effects or am I the only one?

It definitely increases my lung capacity as I play a field sport and I believe it also like someone else said makes you a little bit faster. My endurance goes way up When using it

Nattyboomba's picture

I’ve used it a few times & I really dig it. I get a noticeable increase in lung capacity & I find it reasonably effective as an adjunct fat burner, but it seems to be crucial that you’re working in a caloric deficit.
I’m fairly certain that the biggest concern is the data collected suggesting it catalyzes malignants tumors, but that was only at high doses (20 mg + daily) & I think that also the efficacy doesn’t increase much as you go over 10 mg per day so I personally run the standard 10 mg / day.
I think it’s underutilized by many & I’m a bit surprised to find most people don’t use it.

Agreed!

I’ve been running 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the evening during my DHB cut. Haven’t really noticed anything special to be honest, but I had 150 tabs to use so figured I would try it out. Like you mentioned though, it’s hard to tell if it is working when you’re using 500 DHB and 500 Mast (and 300 test C) per week. Honestly I have been extremely lethargic/down since I started taking it which has surprised me. I have been thinking my body just wasn’t reacting well to the oils but maybe it’s the Cardarine that has me down? Maybe I’ll stop these last 3 weeks of the cut and see if my energy returns!

BootyGear's picture

Endurance is good on it. Feels like it flattens out muscle tho. I believe it coverts muscle fibers into that of a sprinter. Not optimal for being huge or trying to retain size in a cut.

Felt like it flattened me out quite a bit and ate muscle up.

Using injectable L-carnitine in my cut right now and I’m looking much better and mentally feel better on L-Carnitine than Cardarine.

Try injectable L-carnitine, yes it has to be injectable preparation. Oral bioavailability is like 7-10%

NWApatches's picture

Does injectable l carnitine go IM or subq

Owes a Review × 1
Blck_panda's picture

I take l'carnitine with the wife. We both use 29g .5in needle. I shoot my quad or delts. If you do sub q that shit will hurt. You can feel it running down your arms or leave the quads juicy for a few days. I thought it was just me but same thing happened to her. Thats when we used the smaller needle a few times before we switched to a .5 size. IM is the way to go. I take 300-400mg (500mg/ml) before a workout and helps with a pump.

BootyGear's picture

Intramuscular. I just use a baby pin tho either a 28g half inch slin or a 30 if you use a shorter needle I’m sure it’ll get to where it needs to go if you push it in deep. You can do sub-q but I’ve heard there can be some pip but some people are more prone to pip than others

That shit made all my body hair and eyebrows fall out. It didn't affect my head or facial hair though. It made going up stairs a breeze.

ktiger's picture

What made your eyebrows fall out? The cardarine or carnitine? And did the outer 1/3 of the eyebrows fallout?

scoobydoo's picture

Cardarine. And my whole eyebrows were almost gone. I looked like a freak. Lol.

ktiger's picture

My eyebrows thinned out during the summer. Now I know why. I was taking cardarine too.

scoobydoo's picture

Yeah dude. I had to get my driver's license renewed at the time and it looks like I had no eyebrows. My back hair, chest hair and pubes were pretty much gone. You're the only other person I've seen so far that gets that reaction.

Damn that's crazy

I just checked. I actually only had one 50 cap bag left that was open. I chucked it.

NWApatches's picture

Bro I'm finishing cardarine right now was in a small deficit while taking it and really liked it. I fucked up my labs though I was primarily taking it because I've heard it literally fixes cholesterol issues so I'm going to be like two weeks out on that but will see if it affected it. Really liked cardarine im thinking about using 10mgs on trt for the rest of my life. About tren breathing I never used it with tren. I couldn't get over shortness of breath while running trenbolone and I tried EVERYTHING EXCEPT cardarine. Let us know what's up

Owes a Review × 1
Sackbird's picture

For sure bro. It really does have a lot of benefits and can really help fix some shitty bloodwork. I’ve heard people taking it with anavar to combat lipid issues. I just heard about running it with tren and I was like holy fuck why didn’t I think of that? Most SARMs are pretty much a joke and pointless if you can get real gear, but cardarine (not even a SARM) really is slept on. I’ll keep you posted about the breathing/cardio.

How much were you running and when were you taking it? Split or single dose? From what I read it has a 16-24 hour half-life (kind of a big range) so once daily should suffice.

Yeah I've been doming 20 mgs daily. Trt/cardarine 1x daily 20 mgs

I'll have to catch u Boyz on the rebound when winter comes around cause it's way too damn hot outside. Can't wait till fall

23Sparta's picture

Bro, I start my car with the app, A/C full blast and wait like 10 minutes before I even think about walking out the door.

DeeMan's picture

I need that in my life!!!! Gotta get my AC looked at. Not as cool as it use to get

23Sparta's picture

Yeah, I don’t got a fancy car or anything. Just a brand new one. My turning wrenches days are over, I’m too bougie now. Same with my “all eyes on me” days, them done as well. Yuh boy happy just blending in with the masses in his old age

DeeMan's picture

Hey I can dig it. My truck is brand new so not sure why that stubborn ass AC just starting to act up. Lol as soon as temps went up then it wants to act a damn fool. But anyways yeah low key and blending in is the way to go in my opinion. @23Sparta those guys with the speakers on the outside of their fancy nice ride are a piece of work huh? They want that all eyes on me type attention. Never understand that

23Sparta's picture

Man, I got both hands on the wheel going 5 under. The only time I get looked at is when someone flips me off.

Yeah, I got bros with ridiculous whips and systems. I understand it, it feels good, but it comes with a price imo. I’m just on some other shit right now

Better get that A/C buttoned up!

DeeMan's picture

Yeah man it's bad but I'm sure it will get worse. Tolerable at best but summer hasn't peaked yet. Lol yeah I know all about the fancy cars and loud music. I liked the fancy cars but didn't care for the loud music. I needed to be the only one to hear my music inside my ride.

23Sparta's picture

Right? I’m actually doing just fine with my stock system. Surprisingly

Man I spent everything I had on a fucking luxury suv. Imagine luxury town SUV. Loaded. One owner previous and brother i feel like I'm driving a California king memory foam mattress down the damn road.

But yeah, I get that lil rush when the homies come swoop me up in whips like yours
