I missed all the 10/12 mL drama, but for what I paid per vial, delivered in 4 days is literally peanuts. I don't really care if it's a LITTLE short on one run - that said, everything I have gotten from them (that I have opened) has been on or slightly over in volume. For me , I think for a domestic source w/o all the hassle of dealing foreign this site has been the easiest to deal with and most transparent -. My gym-bro connection isn't going to provide me with test reports and answers on any issues should they arise.

The correct way for @Kits4lessdomestic is to over compensate with 12 but advertise for 10.
The perception then would be you pay for 10 but might get as high as 12. This also compensates for "overhead", i.e., product lost in the hub of the syringe when pinning.
As it stands, if you think you are paying for 12 but get 10, you feel like you’ve been shorted by close to 17%
@Greg Yeah, if we hadn’t been able to pinpoint and correct the issue, that would’ve absolutely been the right approach. As of late, we’ve actually been targeting around ~12.25–12.5 mL per vial to account for the bit that’s tough to draw out, plus the “overhead” loss you mentioned from the syringe.
I’ll also add that everyone who reached out to support was compensated well beyond the ~16.7% shortage, something several members here can vouch for.

If they need to be recalibrated after each run then it’s very plausible each vile gets filled with less and less as the machine goes.
Knowing it is finicky and needs recalibration after each run is admission of an issue.
I said the machines need recalibration after every run, that’s true. What I didn’t say is that they were left uncalibrated, which is what it seems youre implying. I only pointed out that underfills were possible given that recalibration is a constant variable in production.
We later discovered the issue wasn’t with the machine at all, it was with the graduated cylinder used for calibration. One of the 20 mL cylinders we had in rotation was off, what looked like 12mL was actually closer to ~10.5 mL. In other words, to get a true 12 mL fill, we’d have had to calibrate at around 13.5 mL.
And just to clarify, recalibration after each run isn’t a “fix,” it’s standard practice. Each compound has a different viscosity based on its BA/BB ratio, which is why recalibration is required — not because the machine itself is temperamental.
I’m not looking to argue, I understand where you’re coming from. I just want to make sure the facts are clear on the record.

It’s very clear I wasn’t implying they were left uncalibrated. Don’t try to twist things around. When you say something is finicky that implies it’s broke so recalibration in that context is a “fix”.

After thoroughly reviewing Gotem69 s calibration case study. It simply turns out that over the last 10 months the machine was calibrated to fill no more than 10ml ever. In matter of the calibration case study suggests there was only a short window of time around the 6 month period where they were filled to 10ml. The rest of the data suggests the vials could have been filled as little as 1ml --
