It's because I fucked up work release and got sent back to prison to finish my sentence which was exactly 6 months. I have currently started the cycle and you'll be hearing from me soon and I apologize for the delay.

Congrats on getting out! Quick question though — in the U.S., prison sentences are typically for a year or more, while jail terms are for less than a year. Is it different in your country, or was your sentence split between the two? I’m genuinely curious as I’m finishing up law school soon.
Idk where you got this misinformation but you can be sentenced from 10 days,30days, 3months 45 days, etc…
Jail& Prison ARE totally different mate.
Depending upon what state you live in, you can do 7.5yrs in County Jail , in this same state you can be sentenced to 1yr in Prison.
It’s called sentencing structure.
Other states, you can’t do more than 364 days in county jail. Anything more, would be state prison. Federal sentencing is same.
You can’t get anywhere from 12 months to 360months.
