First couple of baby goats this year. Black one is a boy and the tall brown with stripes a girl. No names yet, feel free to suggest (Anabolics are ok). Wife will decide later on.

Aaawh those are too cute
Ahhh.... I see what you did there! That's brilliant! You've no idea how many water tanks and dry totes that I've got up top end of the ranch I could've used. NEVER even thought about em. That's awesome bro! I just figured the stacked hay bales would add the extra layer of insulation. Ya know? But then I also had to be concerned with fire prevention, so I had to make sure that never happened either. Great idea though Mac! Cute babies too! They grow so damn fast though! They'll be climbing the pens and eating everything in sight, in no time! Lol
Yes should name one of them GK in honor of our boy. Lol
Trick on the heat lamp is to cut a slot in the removable top, suspend the lamp so it hangs and won't come down. And keep the wire heat shield on too.
That's awesome! Some slick ingenuity! I may give it a go as one of the nannies is pregnant again, already. I'm probably going to have to separate her from the Billy again, in the event he starts acting like a dick again. Just a preventative measure. It's small enough to place in the same pen, yet keep her and the baby separated from the rest so she can nurse properly.
Note: I'm from the NYC area and there's no goats there unless you go to the zoo. So all this is new to me. It's a learning curve. I appreciate ya, as shit like this is all new to me. Lol
Good goat groups on FB with all kinds of info and immediate help when needed.
I never really thought about that. They probably got a group for just about everything farm wise. Which is good cause we got just about everything over here. It's not just the goats. There's cattle, chickens, duck, you name it, it's here. Their main thing though, is horses. They breed, buy, and sell thoroughbreds, quarter horses, barrel horses, etc. they're actually known around the country for them. Champion bloodlines and shit. Ppl come from all over the country with their mares, to breed them with some of these studs. Big money shit! Too rich for my blood! Lol! But, he's a good friend of mine and I live and work here on the ranch, as well as off ranch. These ppl have their hands in more businesses than I thought a person can handle. It's kinda crazy.
I love it out here though! Love the open mountain air, the animals, all of it. There's nothing like it! Kinda feel like I've wasted so many years not doing this.
Left the big city bullshit years ago.
Yeah, this for sure this is where it's at. It's only been like a year for me. Wish I'd have known years ago.
I want one bad. Be my little pet
Bro that’s awesome. Baby goats are the best. They’ll be jumping on everything in no time won’t they.

Congrats that’s awesome my friend.
HAHAHA Brilliant Mate!!!
Looks like you have some real characters there, some crazy good markings on some of them too - very unique.
I think that Crazy lookin Motherfucker at the top should be called 'Trenny' .....
Never name your food.
Our goats aren’t for food, but everything else on farm is fair game.
Ahh, so a brothel then. No wonder so many here are interested.
You know, back in the day I had a herd of molested goats here on eroids until some damn woodpecker started barbecuing them.
Brothel....yes.
