+ 2 Touchdown for the wife

ad

The wife has done her reasurch and decided she wants to run a couple cycles and decided on var only for the first one and var/winny for the second. She has read just about every post on here from Kodiakgrrl and reasurched every link she posted. She has NAC, Tudca, and milk thistle and fish oil for liver support along with a daily multi vitamin and DHEA for pct. I think I may have spent more on vitamins and supplements than on the gear. The clen was a freebie and she probably won't be using it.

Grrl liked anavar but always warned to avoid winny. She posted that the hard part is knowing if its real var vs winny.

Slim0983's picture

Winny has a higher risk of virilization compared to var but it is still much lower than other AAS, she said if she runs it on the second cycle it will be var only for the first 2 weeks and then ad the the winny for the last 5 weeks at 5mg a day split 2.5mg in the morning and afternoon.

What’s your wife’s history with training ect , does she or has she competed? Looking to compete? These products can’t make big changes to females even at low dosages. In my experience 75+ % off women who go down this road regret it massively

She hasn't and isn't going to compete. Currently she's training 5 days a week with me, in the last 2 years she's down 50lbs and is close to her goal weight. What she is looking for is to improve body composition, to me she looks amazing but she wants to tone up and with the amount of reasurch she's done she has realistic expectations, she understands she isn't going to run a couple 7 week cycles and be shredded and stage ready she knows she's going to have to stay locked in with the diet and gym to see results. She will be doing lab work and monitoring everything closely and she has said any side effects she isn't comfortable with she's coming off. This is a decision she spent about 6 months reasurching she has probably read about every female AAS log that's on the internet looking at before and after pictures and training routines. Trust me I questioned her multiple times if she was sure about this and I put off making the purchase for 2 months after she made her decision just to be sure she wasn't going to change her mind, she's a pretty stubborn person once she's made up her mind so I figured it's best if I support her and I'm involved rather than her just doing it alone and it would be pretty hypocritical for me to tell her she can't do this while I'm running 600mg test and 300mg deca a week because I'm afraid she might get side effects when she's been completely supportive of me and what I'm doing.

Bro I’m not judging you or your wife and at the end of the day it’s her choice. I have seen several competing women regret ever taking this products , I have had a women sat across my desk crying because she has to sit infront of a mirror plucking facial hair from her chin and top lip every night. It’s a slippery slip look at us guys we jump on gear and several years even decades later we are still at this women are no different they see the results on a quick little cycle and they don’t want it to end and it progressively increases cycle length then dosages ect , these women are much more vein than us men …

I get it, I didn't think you were judging you asked a legit question and said a lot of women that do this end up regretting it. I was just explaining that she has done her reasurch and took her time coming to the decision.

So stokes, what would you recommend for a woman? I was under the impression low dose var is the best low risk for women. I’m curious.

No judgment here, but if you’re determined to go down this road, monitor symptoms of virilization as @smurfdude1234567 pointed out. Keep in mind though that sometimes the changes are so gradual you don’t notice until the change is significant and may be at a point where it’s irreversible.

I’d suggest getting an app like Voice Analyzer and recording her voice regularly. I think there’s a free version and there might other apps. Something like this may be able to help detect changes in pitch earlier than you might otherwise be able to.

I put my wife on 5 mg of var for 5 weeks and she absolutely loved it but I hear you regarding the risks. Her period was longer. We’re finished having kids but don’t want to mess her up.

I wouldn’t recommend anything for a woman at all mate apart from supplements and diet, your absolutely correct low dose Var carries the lowest risks but it’s not without risk. The truth is once they start and see the results and improvements then come off they miss it and want more and it builds from there and the dosages start to increase. The negative far outweigh the positive for women and unless as a women your at least competitive then it’s just not worth it. The results women get at super low doses are minimal and just don’t warrant it and dosages go up so does the risk. At the end of the day it’s down to him and his wife to do what they deem fit … but just think about the it she’s down 50lbs in 2 years and close to her goals so she doesn’t need this shit

Have seen the exact same happen- unless they are at an extremely high competitive level or working in the industry most seem to regret it. The idea isn’t so bad in theory, but the sides seem to be much more emotionally taxing on the female side. They don’t react to the virilization so well. Deepened voice, facial hair, enlarged clit, etc. things that as guys we see it as a positive or don’t even notice much- can be world-ending level devastating to females.

Not coming at either of yall and support the situation especially if staying safe with labs and such. It’s all our own bodies and I hope it goes smoothly! We’d love to see updates- not enough active females in this community anymore.

You think peptides would be a better alternative for women? I know a girl that was thinking about trying something and trying to see if there might be a better alternative such as peptides.
