+ 4 Gotta keep that RBC in range

ad

The blood bank wouldn't stop emailing for me to come in, they beg for that O+ blood and I could feel it was time my cardio was starting to suffer getting easily fatigued and always trying to catch my breath.

I do Power Red donations. I get multiple emails and calls every week. Even after donating.

I'll probably do power reds next time, when I scheduled the only appointments available for power reds was 2 weeks out and i didn't want to wait so I just did whole blood because an appointment was open next day.

I've done that as well when there weren't any power reds available.

I'm going in for blood work in a couple weeks, I could just tell it was time. When the RBC starts getting out of range I feel really lethargic like it's hard to even motivate myself to hit the gym and when I do I get winded real easily and it takes a while to catch my breath. I can already feel a difference the day after, after getting some electrolytes in me and making sure I'm hydrated I have more energy and I did 30min of cardio this morning and didn't feel like I was going to hyperventilate 10 minutes into it.

Are you on trt?

Slim0983's picture

Kinda it's a little high for TRT but not a full on blast. I'm on 150mg a week I pin 50mg M/W/F and sprinkle in a little pre workout anavar here and there. 150 a week keeps me just about 1050ng/dl with all markers in range except RBC and hematocrit, I try to stay hydrated and avoid extra iron but after a while it still starts creeping up and then I donate.

Last time I donated blood, I fainted and felt like shit for days so I just cycle off for about 6 months before I go back on and my levels do seem to drop after a few months.

TheIcon's picture

Even when I drop down to 175mg TRT dose for myself I don't feel great. I feel great compared to before TRT but now adays I think I need my Test around 1500 Total to feel good.

I still have to come off for a few months, and my natural test still recovers. I feel it’s just good for the body to come off
