L Carnitine Live up to the Hype?

Yo, been seeing this come across my feed a lot the last week or so. Started digging around but seems to be a mixed bag on worth it per the money and literal pain in the ass.

Firstly, I hear the takinging it orally the digestive takeaway is completely not worth or minimal at best and the best way is around like 200mg per 50lbs on injection for full benefits.

I've heard it works great if you can afford it cause it's expensive and the daily pin sucks. However I haven't seen that it messes with negatively and the positives are worth it per getting/keeping lean, as well as pumps and energy. Overall stuff I'm thinking it might be worth it to me to try out.

Obviously you all have much more experience than me and I wanna hear some thoughts.

Then there's if it seems to be a net positive is it best to grab a 500mg/ml from a supply or go balls deep and brew? Honestly, need more practice with math regarding but there is many recipes out there which I could follow easy. Simplicity sake and for a trial run, was debating on waiting to just grab a bottle from a supplier and try it first and see how it feels cause some say they felt nothing others felt like it did them amazing.

Also if so would there be a load up for a few days/weeks or just a static amount daily?

I've only done the oral stuff. It' not that it isn't effective at all. It's just that the bioavailability is significantly less then than it is when injected. 3-5g 1 hour pre cardio will have you sweating like you're in a sauna. Does it do anything to help burn fat at an increased rate? I have no idea.

It's my understanding there is no loading phase like you'd have with creatine. You just do the dose you want PWO. I'd probably just order a bottle from a trusted supplier to start instead of screwing around trying to brew your own for the first time.

Fair enough, yea I take it as a supplement already but didn't know it was kinda bad on bioavailability just taking the research dive on injecting it for the full effect.

Most def, probably smarter in short run to try it and see if I like it. Plus going in that amount of cash gunna outride any first fears of self IM injection haha

My understanding is it's only about 10% bioavailability when taken orally.

It's good for sperm mobility and quality if you're trying to have kids. Sub Q burns like hell. Didn't notice much from it but i might retry it soon.

Ive done l'carnitine injections with the wife. I purchased 1 vial at 500mg/ml. 30ml vial.
I know guys were doing 1ml a day but I personnally just did 300mg 1 hr before the gym.
Wife was doing 200mg before the gym.
For me, I got a really good pump. Not sure if it helped staying lean, but once I discovered it for the gym, thats the main reason I took it.
Pip on that shot sucks. IM aint too bad, but sub Q, never again. Even when IM, it left me pretty sore. Swore I didnt go deep enough the first time and felt it running down my arm, same thing with the wife. Thats when we did a longer needle to do IM.
People swear if you brew yourself there is less PIP and also cost is about 1/4th the price.
I suggest buying a vial and trying it. I know people swear by it, but everyone responds to it diffrent.
Never took too much to smell fishy. Thats one side effect.
Price aint that bad honestly, well depends how much you take. 1 vial has last me 2 months since I dont take it daily, just when I need that extra boost.

Really good for the workout, so taking it pre. I've heard SubQ sucks for this stuff due to it being water soluble instead of oil? I'm still new to injectables and learning doing plenty of reading though haha. IM would be the way I would go probably at the glute, maybe the delt when comfortable but glute I hear is the easiest if you're not used to it.

To be honest I have heard people saying you need to go a full 1500-2000mg for it to have any positive effects so like 3ml daily, and that seems like way over the top but I have no idea.

I was planning on trying 250mg and see how I felt, then taking it to 500mg depending on pump and feeling.

So are you still a firm believer in it or is it kind of "meh, it helps but isn't what it's being hyped up to be currently." Cause I def get a trendy feeling off this seeing it all over social media.

Also recommend gauge and length cause last thing I want to do is mess up and not go deep enough IM.

Ive done delt and thighs, not glute.
I mean, I am struggling taking it because I hate the soreness it leaves. Wife is in the same boat. It does help but I rather take other supplements.
We both do 29g/.5in needle. If your a thickk fella maybe 1 in needle.

It's blowing up in popularity, looked at recommended supplies that aren't $$$ but you already know it's sold out lol

Ain't too thicc, so .5 should be alright.

Heard a lot about the sore of it, but most said it was mitigated by glute and thighs were the most painful for PIP. That's why I was thinking glute sound the best to try it.

I'm in no rush but will be eyeballing it and the second I can grab a vial I'll probably give it a go and see if I like it.

I’ve never taken it myself but I’ve read the oral bioavailability is trash and not worth at all.

As far as injections I definitely would try it out before going balls deep in something.

That's what I was thinking as well. Source a bit at 500 mg/ml eat the cost of it for the trial and if I really like the stuff maybe make it up.

Yea, I heard it's like 12-15% if digested and inject is the way to go. Wife is gunna think I'm finally hopping on --
