Basic Introduction

ad

Hey, all. 53 yo, been on TRT for a few years. It has truly revitalized me. I've been under a telemedicine TRT clinic primarily. Initially I was on a lotion, but I've been injecting for a while. I'm at the point where I know what dosage keeps me in the TRT sweet spot. Labs are coming back good, so says my doc.

I'll be trying my hand at getting 'something more' out of anabolics. I've been reading forums and watching videos for over a year. It seems like there is a ton of info out there, but it's a mess - somewhat disorganized and cluttered. The format of forums makes it difficult to tell (at least at first) what is honest information and what is snarky comment. But, that's the character of forums. Still, it's great to have so much information out in the light, accessible and available.

Are there people in here who coach folks into this process? I want someone who will cut through the noise, and get me moving forward.

Thanks.

Best practice is to ask questions and learn. Keep in mind you're 53 and your health should be a priority. So with that in mind, you've probably heard the amazing and terrible things about tren, toss any idea of using it out the window, it's a young mans compound.
People are going to ask your stats, height, weight, bf, experience, etc. Throw that in your first post asking for questions followed by your goals. Without knowing anything about you, I'd recommend doing a small blast 'cycle' of 300mg a week for 10 weeks just to see how things change for you. Being that you're on trt already, I assume your dosage is <125mg per week, 300mg would be a nice, clean and easy cycle on the body and can come with great results. I assume you're not looking to walk across a stage or look like an IFBB pro and just looking for some recomp, strength and size.

Correct. I'm at 140 mg a week. About 15% body fat. 5'11", 175 to 180 lbs. Not looking to do anything more than be functionally strong in a way that as the body naturally ages, I will maintain enough strength to have quality of life. I do not want to be that guy who cannot walk down stairs because he didn't work his muscles in balance. I don't want to fall and break my hip and die in bed. And, I don't need to stroke my vanity in any way. Tren makes no sense for me. Small tweaks are needed in my diet to get appropriate calories, as my appetite is relatively low naturally. I appreciate your generic input, which is surprisingly spot on for my goals and perspective. Thank you.

Sometimes we’re snarky and honest at the same time Biggrin

@Stokes500 actually coaches people (some pros). Perhaps you can reach out to him in PM and work out some agreement. Good dude. Knows what he’s talking about.

Right. Honest snark game is strong. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi buddy, I appreciate the recommendation from my pal @SeeOhShow but I really do not have time for any more clients and in all honesty you can learn and progress great with the info you can find on here. There’s a group of good active members who you’ll see about and you will soon work out who they are and there the guys who will help you on your journey. Any help you want or info you can’t find just make a post and someone will guide you in the right direction.

Welcome bud, ya this can be a tricky place to get started up in. But as long as you seem genuine and don’t do ridiculously stupid stuff you’ll be fine and guys will help you. Also there’s the search function at the top that you can use to look up questions you have and see if they’ve been asked and answers before, there’s tons of good info to search through

Thanks. Search has helped when I know what I'm looking for. Also, it took a while to realize that you can tell who the people are who contribute to the forum. And, those who don't. So I can judge whether to give weight to what someone says.

Rosschestzip's picture

Ya for sure BUT beware lol just cause someone contributes a lot doesn’t mean they contribute anything of value. Also with a lot of this stuff there’s more than one way to do things so two guys could say different things but they could both be right, there’s just different opinions on how to do things, because not everything we do has been 100% confirmed by science. We’re kinda like pioneers of this shit lmao
