+ 1 Not Really Sure Where to Go From Here

Been bodybuilding since I was 18. I had no understanding of nutrition back then. I would eat whatever, drink a lot of protein shakes and mass gainers, and train hard. It wasn't till I turned 23 (2020) that I finally started working on understanding nutrition and diet and the important role it plays in bodybuilding.

First Bulk with a coach was 08/2022 - 03/2023. Started at 173 lbs / 10% BF and finished at 231 lbs / 18% BF.

First Cut with a coach was 03/2023 - 09/2023. Started at 231 lbs / 18% BF and finished at 214 lbs / 16.4% BF

Maintenance started 10/2023 (Stats above).

Half way through my bulk I went to the doctor due to varicose veins. After the doctor asked some questions I opened up and told him I'd been having a low sex drive. Getting hard wasn't a problem but just overall desire wasn't there along with no motivation to really do anything. My confidence was in the toilet and I was kind of depressed some days and couldn't explain why. I asked the doc to check my Test levels and he did which revealed my T was at 420 (was taking a testosterone support supplement at the time). He then proceeded to tell me that the range for my age is between 400-900 and that my levels were fine because I'm still in the range.....idk about you but that just sounds like bs. He then prescribes me anti-anxiety medication which did absolutely nothing for me. Jump to a week or two later I'm telling my buddy about it and he starts telling me how my levels are way too low and I need to look into TRT. So I start taking 200 mg Test Cyp per Week (.5CC every Tues and Saturday) and .5mg Anastrozole day after injection. My coach informed me this was a low therapeutic dose to start with. Results were great in terms of my mood, emotion and sleep. Felt confident when socializing again, Motivated to reach my goals, and generally happy most days. This is before seeing any progress in terms of physique. Continued taking 200mg per week til 07/2023. I had just dropped my coach to see if I could maintain this lifestyle on my own with plans to return if I needed help. This is when a buddy of mine started TRT as well so naturally we ordered our Test together to save on shipping and handling and get a better deal for ordering more. The bottles that we received were 250mg instead of 200 mg so I decided to continue my regimen and increase my dose to 250mg per week and have been doing so since then.

I'm overall happy with the muscle gains I've achieved but feel I could have done more to cut fat. I lift 2-3 hours a day 5-6 days a week and did cardio during the cut. Ill be honest I wasn't very consistent with cardio and I had 2 cheat meals a week during the bulk so I'm sure that didn't help and I've learned from my mistakes. Part of me wants to do it all over again and start a bulk next month but then the other side of me wants to start a serious cut for 2 months first so I can get as close to 10% BF as possible before going hard on another bulk. T\he Buddy I train with lifts heavy af and is bigger than me so Ive adopted his diet so I can keep up during work outs. Basically high carbs and High protein with moderate fat (3,250 cal / 50% Carbs / 35% Protein / 15% Fat).

My other buddy who told me about TRT just started a Mast P/ Tren Ace/ Test Prop Cycvle and swears by Tren for cutting but then I have my old coach and others telling me to stay away from tren and just use anavar or clen. If you've gotten this far through my post and still dont understand what I'm trying to ask well then in summary:

Should I cut again or should I rinse and repeat and start a bulk?
Should I continue my Test Cyp and add in Anavar or Clen or should I explore shorter esters and other compounds?

And while we are at it what is the deal with peptides? Ive been looking into them and they sound too good to be true. I've mainly researched BPC 157, GHRP6, and Ipamorelin.

Lol I get it... I never thought of it that way but it makes a ton of sense. Now you have me curious on deca again. My sweet spot was 600mg and I did 16 weeks twice. By sweet spot I mean that's as high as I got without wanting to push it while staying in the "norm". Maybe I should just do less is more one round and just stick with it... maybe I've been living in a world of lies.

Brother this business that we are in are full of lies lol. That's why I tell folks that you have to experiment and find out what works for you. What works for the next man may not apply to you. Lol that thought is outdated for sure. Now sure you can listen to a good members advice, which is fine. But at the end of the day we aren't all exactly the same. We are similar but not the same.

Deca too is like that. My first cycle was test Cyp and Deca and I had amazing gains but the problem I had was once I PCT off my dick was broken for 2 months even though I took HCG and clomid I still suffered from this, when I was on cycle I had testosterone high so my sex drive was fine but the deca was built up and still working for long time after I stopped in this regard

Why don't you get blood work first? If your levels are in the 600-900 range then I would say stick with test & run 500mg a week for 12-15 weeks then drop back down to the cruising dose. But as Dee said, that is technically a higher than normal TRT dose. I take 100 mg subq every week but it is prescribed and that pushes me from high 200s to 450 range.

As for adding other compounds, tren is fun, but something I think you should be more seasoned to utilize. I used about 5-6 other compounds other than test before I decided to pop my cherry with tren. I reacted very well to it... little sides & came off of it like a champ. I also didn't dose it like I was Mr Olympia either.

If you want try something fun to really see how dialed in your training & diet is check out this. Get some dianabol & see if you can cut with it. Others will say, "that's a pure mass pill" or "dbol does nothing but hold water" or better yet "dbol is outdated junk". That is not true. I will eat that shit for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. For my goals in weightlifting & my bodies response, it helps me retain mass while dropping weight. When I say weight, I mean actual fat as I will hold water. Long story short, if you can be conscientious enough to eat, train, & rest properly on a six week oral... I think you can discuss other avenues.

Wow this is alot so I'll just address a few things. So it's nice to see a newbie starting a cycle at lower dosages. Now at 400ng you were in range but lower range for your age so I'm sure you did benefit from 200mg inj as levels would increase. As far as Tren...dude I've been in the game awhile and I've never used it at all, in fact the one vial I got for free many years ago has been collecting dust. It's expired and needs to be thrown away but honestly I don't recommend it because of its side effects. Also 32 weeks? Now normally that's way too long for a cycle my man but I see you were at 200mg so basically a bit above trt. And you mentioned classic physique right? Well if that's the case then you shouldn't need alot of gear, but the basics. As a beginner you have to master testosterone alone before you go adding everything else. Just have patience man. Do things right and your body and health will thank you in the long run.

Thanks for the input DeeMan! Honestly seeing that does give me some relief. I dont plan on taking Tren ever. Mostly just curious about it and suprised that someone I know swears by it. I also watch the Tren Twins Vlogs on Youtube and they talk about it like its aspirin. Also Im glad you bring up the fact that Ive been taking test cyp for 32 weeks. I was under the assumption that TRT is not something you start and then stop. Before I decided to start TRT my coach explained to me that once I started I shouldn't stop. I dont really know any better and the goal was to raise my test levels indefinitely so it made sense to me at the time but now I'm starting to reconsider that. When was I suppose to stop if that's the case?

I would find a new coach if he wants to push you on to TRT without other protocols, unless he is a doctor... but that's just me.

Yeah don't wanna bash my old coach because he did teach me a lot and he was my first but some of his advice when it came to steroids was a little sketchy. One part I forgot to mention was that when I started my cut he recommended checking out Clenbuterol. I did my research and thinking it would only be an 8 week cycle he wanted me to take more and for 12 weeks. I was cutting pretty fast but I noticed I was having a weir reaction when I trained. My hands and feet would start to tingle when I got closer to failure. Cramps were not that bad but overall I didnt like that it was affecting my training so I told him I wanted to stop after the 9th week. This is when I started thinking maybe I had a good enough understanding of training and nutrition to do it on my own with the help of friends. Ill also add that he was stupid cheap. $90/month for a meal plan, weekly updated training routine, weekly video call, and I could text or call any time if I needed help so it was hard to not stay with him after hearing that my buddy pays $300/month for basically the same thing plus one in person work out a week with his coach.

So about what I said about 32 weeks, that pertains to a normal cycle. That would be too long is what I meant. Now with true TRT you are supposed to stay on, again at true TRT levels and not this 250mg or 275mg stuff I see sometimes lol.. I can't tell you my TRT experience as I don't do TRT. And yea there are those that swear by Tren but there are also those that swear you should stay away from it too. It's a personal decision. I just felt it wasn't needed.
