I’m not sure that I can consider myself a fan. My wife loves this shit and basically forces me to watch it with her. Definitely some crazy shit, LOL.

It is sad. I feel the same way about Ticktock and Instagram. My wife and kids love it, and I’m like “how can you just watch a clip of a music video or interview. That shit is annoying to me. If something gets my attention, I wanna watch it, I wanna hear it. I can sit next to my wife and watch her listen to twenty different song clips per minute. Smh
JohnJuiceTikTok is addictive due to its bite-sized, entertaining content, and personalized recommendations. I tried to refrain from that app for a long time (talking about tik tok).
At the start, it is an annoying app with dance videos and lip singing, but when you personalize and trash unwanted people from your "page", it's decent... Like youtube, just with shorter videos.
Well far better than power slap tbh.
But yea, I do understand you, social media is addictive. There are a lot of psychological factors and the "fear of missing out" in people. Also, people, these days are more bored and lazy, its easier to take the phone and swipe and watch than do other things or hobbies for some these days.
JUST MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS:
1) Knockouts shown on TV are frickin’ gnarly!! Imagine the debilitating KOs that CAN’T show (with boys twitching and seizing for 5 minutes!! LOCKJAW + BITTEN OFF TONGUES…. This ”sport” is insane!
2) [UNTIL THEY CHANGE SOME OF THESE DIRTY (Wristbone) SLAP RULES & LETTING CLEARLY CONCUSSED BROS CONTINUE] Someone is probably going to die someday from a perfectly placed KO + the stims that these boys use (pre-contest)!! Someone is going to go cardiac or pass away due to post-concussion brain swelling. (Happens in kickboxing, boxing and MMA every week someplace, somewhere) But at least they’re finally drug testing nowadays!!

I’ve been a disciple of UFC, Vale Tudo, boxing, judo, BJJ — ever since Nick Diaz (a boxing grappler) KOed Robbie Lawler (a freestyle kickboxer) at UFC 47 wwwwwaaaaaayyyy at 2004!! I love Dana White. He’s influenced my life in SO MANY WAYS (as a man). To me: He will ALWAYS be the GodFather of American MMA. He changed the world!!
However, DANA WHITE SLAPPING/PUNCHING HIS WIFE at the nightclub (during the first months of his TBS show) ….. That’s all I can think about when I:
(a) watch the show
(b) see Dana @ UFC events
……. IT’S SUPER SAD!! Slapping/Punching his wife (frickin over and over and over) has ruined Dana’s legacy + his show just ain’t the same. No idea WTF she said to him; but watching the video was traumatic as ****’!! [Respect though: He is very very self-aware that many many many folks have lost respect for me as an Alpha]

Yeah it's silly to me but hey to each their own. I watch sometimes though. At least you can protect yourself in boxing or mma to a certain degree but yeah their brain is definitely gonna be affected eventually by those powerful slaps no doubt
Those are my thoughts exactly. These guys don’t realize how brain damaging this must be, or they just don’t care. I think it’s only a matter of time until this shit gets banned. I’ve been a fight fan my entire life, but this shit just don’t sit right with me. I almost feel like Dana is capitalizing on their stupidity. I can imagine the disclaimers the are forced to sign.

It's 2 am and I couldn't sleep so decided to turn on the tube and look at the Slap Fight Championships. Man y'all mfers are all CRAZY and I'm just as crazy for kinda liking this sillyness lol. They've gone over 25 rounds! Teeth and cotton balls flying every damn where! Both spitting up blood. Broken jaw....Insane! Just knock me out in the boxing ring to get it over with.

Yeah, it was really nice hear today, but we opted to drive out to New Hope, PA instead. Boardwalk is crazy this weekend. A little too congested for us. We might hit the beach Monday morning while all the tourists are leaving to get back home. I don’t mind the tourists, but people all up on you is a little too much on the beach.
Nice!! The nearest beach to me is about 90 minutes drive away and like most UK beaches up north - its pretty shit LMAO All the good ones are down south like Brighton, Cornwall etc.

Hell yeah! I’ve seen some pretty brutal stuff. I can’t believe these guys aren’t worried about brain damage. I know MMA can be very Brutal, but to just stand there and let someone wallop the shit out of you just doesn’t sit right with me. My wife is a Power Slap fanatic. Never thought this type of sport would ever happen but it happened. Lol guess mma and boxing got too boring. But yea some of those slaps might as well be balled up fists. No difference from the KOs. I prefer hand to hand combat though.
I was taught palm strikes in my Kenpo training, your opponents jaw doesn’t know the difference, neither will the side of his head lol, but it saves your knuckles. It’s more about stimulating a nerve in the jaw, or moving the head fast enough to produce a shock. Vasal vagus I believe it’s called, but it’s been years. Basically spin the other guys as fast and hard as you can. The palm is a great tool.
