You must be a 500 bencher with that back and Tri's are you?
490 lbs about 15 years ago but on my 3rd rehearsal, one of the three tendons in the left pectoral got torn. now I have a hollow on the left pectoral. I did not have the operation because at the time the doctors said it was going to be torn again. it would no longer be elastic but fibrous :(
Nice lift! - I did my left pec at Xmas but luckily it was just a minor one down the middle like a zip! resting it and running tren managed to heal it in 5 weeks unbelievably. Was your on the outer edge connecting to the shoulder?
there are 3 ligaments and ist the middle one which has ruptured. luckily not the one attached to the shoulder, that would have been catastrophic. I only train with guided chest machines. for the shoulders it's okay with dumbbells but I have a problem with my balance if I take too heavy. I am happy for you that you are cured because it is very handicapping when this happens
Did you see the Larry Wheels training partner one on the Incline bench where the guy had already gone to failure with 180kg, then decided to max with 220kg and it came right off the bone almost up into his chin??! Absolutely Gruesome .....
They had him in surgery only several hours later it was that bad and apparently the whole operation was awful including the days afterwards.
yes, and it was very impressive. I saw it on YouTube ,. in my bench press accident, I just heard a whiplash and no pain at the time, just the muscle that retracted and formed a ball. 1 months later I started training again with very light weights and on the pulley. if it had to be done again, I would no longer do such heavy sets and more repetitions and controlled movements while retaining the weight
