Sand bag workouts, a big ass tire to flip and do sledgework on, battle ropes, a strongman log...
I also got 5gal buckets filled w sand (80lbs each) that I put on the ends of a 8’ 2x4 for squats. Buckets filled with sand for curls. Wife can sit on my back for pushups. Dips off kitchen chairs and pull ups out in the shed off the rafters.
You don’t have to pay those price gougers off CL and OfferUp for weight equipment. Make your own.

Depends where you live. NYC/NJ is claiming June/July but will prob. be longer then that. All depends on the apex of the virus and the numbers of people passing away and still getting infected.
And when things do restart you have to remember it will not be everything at once. Slowly opening different things in order of importance and safety.
So gyms are far down on that list given they are a great place to get the virus. Maybe in the fall or later. And that is if doesn't start to appear again in the fall like the flu does.
Some places the virus is just starting to be a hot spot so the timeline is even longer. There will be some places that recover quicker and some lucky enough to not really be effected by it.
Well it's weird NPC shows are starting back in end of June... beginning/mid May gyms and business have to open otherwise they'll be riots. I do agree it's complex answer with opening certain places. (Not that many people workout anyway summer lol buy fuck maybe more now it sucks!)

I put together a nice setup over the years of used gym equipment. People have offered my crazy money to buy it off me. I'd rather keep it because then I won't be able to lift at all. And who knows when this will end and how it will be after.
Bet I’ll be doing that as soon as I can. I’ve always wanted a home gym. As soon as I see reasonable prices again I’ll start building one out.
Until then prison style workouts will have to do. Goal is to not loose strength and just cruise while this all goes on....I’ll be back on blast again when gyms are open and keep on with the strength gains, hopefully without loosing a step.
