Gyno or prolactin from Ipamorelin.
I'm taking Ipamorelin for the second time. Probably 2 months apart from the first time I used it. I'm a new user so stuck with 200mcg twice daily for 8 weeks.
The second time round my experience was completely different. Products bought from the same place. This time around the 4 week mark I noticed my gains weren't the same and I was getting a lot of water retention. On the 5th week I noticed either high prolactin or gynecomastia like symptoms. Sensitive nipples both going puffy and growing. Even though from my reading Ipamorelin is said not to cause problems like this which is why I opted for it.
I adjusted the dose to 160mcg twice per day. Adjusted my diet but no change. I'm now on the final week 8 I was planning to continue to 12 weeks but I'm quite sure I'll stop now.
I've read lot's of articles and forums and as I'm not using anabolics I'm gathering that what I'm experiencing is due to increased prolactin and not estrogen?
Which brings my to my question... Is it worth getting cabergoline (which seems the most recommended blocker) at 0.5mg every other day then used once per week as a kind of PCT or will things go back to normal now I'm coming off this week?
And why was my first experience so different to this time around? (Lot's of hungar spikes, but felt great and I was getting great results from training. I have changed jobs now being less active but still training 5-6 evenings per week. My diet is always solid too.

AnonDefinitely need blood work, .5mg EOD caber is a fucking lot if it's not high. Unless your prolactin is in the 1000's that would tank you quick for sure, then your idea of .5mg a week would keep you tanked.
You're shooting in the dark, but you know that.
Just stop the cycle until you can do it safely and responsibly
Makes sense. I'll persue getting my bloods checked. Thanks for your reply.
Any idea why this time round was so different? The first time I used it, it was great. I got great results.
Get blood work done if you really want to know what’s going on. Otherwise it’s just guessing at symptoms...
Thanks for your reply. That was my primary thought but I'm imagining that difficult with what's going on in the world right now. Thanks again
