Cycle killed off gyno

ad

I've been hesitant posting this, in case others less experienced jump on this to try it out... but I'm mostly just curious if anyone has had this same experience. I've had gyno for probably 8 years from being stupid and trying out prohormones (I have a very strong opinion on those, but that's another discussion). I went to the doctor shortly after, was prescribed tamoxifen which didnt help much. I had tried the letro protocol after that, which shrunk the gyno to a mostly unnoticeable level. and was settled on just living with it at that point. I started the real stuff 2.5 years ago and I've had to really be careful with gyno flare ups on cycle, I have to start adding in aromasin at even 300mg of test.

Well the last cycle I ran a moderate dose of test/EQ/tren. Not only was it my most successful cycle to date, but my gyno is absolutely gone. My lifting buddy had a real small case of gyno and ran the same cycle at the same time, and his is gone as well. It could have been from the drop in bodyfat %... I started at 10% and dropped to 5.5%, He started at 11.5% and dropped to 7%.

Even with a diagnosis from a doctor and plastic surgeon, I still think that there is a legitimate chance that a good portion of the suspected gyno was actually body fat. This is merely speculation on my part, but I would assume that the plastic surgeon would be biased towards diagnosing it as gyno to gain the financial benefit of preforming the removal operation. Not suggesting dishonesty on the part of the doctor or the plastic surgeon, I am just saying that they are likely to go in to the review biased towards gyno as opposed to body fat since they both know that you have taken prohormones which are known to cause gyno. Also, as the saying in healthcare goes (I made my career in this industry) "surgeons always want to cut" and as a result tend to recommend surgical operations more frequently than practioners who do not perform surgery. Again, this is all speculation and just me presenting another possibility. I think that it would be a good idea to take weekly pictures of your chest the next time you run a bulker and your body fat increases, while also tracking your body fat % each week. By doing this you can see if it appears to come back as your body fat increases and have visual references of the size of the suspected gyno at different body fat percentages. You can plot increases in the size of the suspected gyno against your body fat % and see if you can develop a trend. If you see that the area is consistently growing and shrinking in conjunction with corresponding increases and decreases in body fat, chances are that it was misdiagnosed as gyno. If the area stays consistent, it would suggest that it was actual gyno and I am not even going to begin to speculate why it went away. Again, this is all just me throwing ideas out there. Please don't take it as evidence based facts. Very interesting post though. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I had thought that it could have just been bodyfat, where it disappeared when I dropped so much. The thing that makes me think that's not the case, is it flares up every time I get going on a cycle and I almost always lean up some when cycling. Also, the letrozole cut the size of it and I dont think my body fat changed much (that was a while ago, and I wasn't measuring so I could be wrong). I am going to keep track of gyno size with my next bulk though and see if it does come back and increase in size as my body fat goes up, good suggestion.

Did you use any ancillaries during the cycle , Cabergoline , tamoxifen etc. ?

peterwinkle's picture

none. Like I mentioned I usually have to use Aromasin for even a low dose of test. I had tried test/EQ before and that's the only other time I've not had to use Aromasin. With this cycle I never had any problems with my estrogen so I never took it.

Sound to me you were mistaking some fat for gyno.At 5% you should only have striation. That may explain it.

peterwinkle's picture

I have a full description of it at the bottom, it was diagnosed by a doctor and a plastic surgeon (at one point I was considered getting it removed).

Ive heard of letro working but not the cycle combo but who knows.maybe it was all of it together. The human body is an intricate machine.

That’s what I thought or that he may have had just a lump, but he said a dr diagnosed him.

First I have ever heard of it. I don't think test, EQ, or tren are gyno killers.

Sorry If I missed something but did you do site injections into the pecs?

gyno cure and tren

Are you saying this works?? Awesome, I’m going into the gyno fixing business offering surgery free fixes. ;)

JARHEAD2's picture

Now that you brought it up I do!! LOL

peterwinkle's picture

Thanks! My pictures are over a year old, I've learned a lot and made some big improvements since then.

This doesn’t make sense to me when I think about the reasoning of the gyno is that binding has occurred in the receptors there. My friend swears the same thing happened to him. His lump disappeared after some injections into that pec. Lol
I’m curious to know if anyone knows any science behind this!!

peterwinkle's picture

Yeah I dont understand it at all, which is why I'm posting this... maybe some info to gain? I'd love to know what happened, but either way Ive been thrilled.

Did you have actual gyno or just a lump?

peterwinkle's picture

What do you mean by just a lump? It was definitely hormone related, it slowly started building up a few weeks after the prohormone I was taking. I never had any kind of lump before that. It was diagnosed by a doctor (I had no idea what I was doing back then and went in to see if he could fix it). I also saw a plastic surgeon at one point to get his take on it, he agreed it was gyno as well. At that point I figured It was worth trying letrozole and that cut the size in about half, at that point my right one was about 3/4 diameter disk shaped, and the left one was more of a short hersheys kiss shape about 1/2" diameter.

You answered it. I meant sometimes there is a lump that can be treated & once it has progressed so far that you’re growing boobs, them surgery is the only option. Again, I’m anxious to hear if anyone else has had an experience like this!
