-1 Pronouncing Steroid Esters Properly!!

What's up guys. Just to start with, I'm not trying to be a know-it-all. This is something that's just been so annoying to me for years, I just had to address it! Hearing people that are not even beginners, mis-pronounce the names of steroid esters. So, let's go over the main esters that are so often mis-pronounced.
Cypionate-(Cy-pio-nate), not (Cyp-a-nate)
Enanthate-(E-nan-thate), not (Eth-a-nate)
Propionate-(Pro-pio-nate), not (Prop-a-nate)
I just had to put that out there. It just bothers me so much, when you're discussing gear with someone that claims to know a lot about gear, and then they say (Eth-a-nate), when trying to pronounce Enanthate.

I've been wondering about this lately. I pronounce all of the full names correctly, but what about the abriviation Prop? I say pro-pio-nate with a long O, but when I shorten it, I call it prop, like it rhymes with pop, not like it rhymes with pope.
My buddy says it like prope like though. Am I the only weirdo that says prop like pop?

Took a long ass time for me to be able to correctly pronounce all the different chemical and ester names.
Up until this year I had almost dyslexia with the word enanthate. I always saw it as enthanate, so that's what I said. So i was missing the first n when I said it.

JayD718Yeah Enanthate is the word most commonly pronounced in different ways. That's one word that probably everybody mispronounced wrong for a while, including me when I was just starting out with juice.
It’s a weird ass looking word man lol. One day I had to write it and I was like oooooooooooo I’ve been reading/saying that backwards
