Question

Would it be okay to do some light cardio on off days, in order to maintain a tight midsection? I am specifically speaking of a bulking phase. Is there an amount that is considered constructive toward mass gain? Thanks for the help guys.

Vicious mate, vicious, and say 4 reps.... it will fcuk your day up
but then do that twice and thats all the cardio you need in a week
massive time saver, big effect on fat
you can use a spin bike of course to do them!

G'luck!

I am going to give it a go and keep you posted on the results. I have a feeling I am going to be walking like a 90-year-old man afterwards. LOL!

If you can walk!

Fuck my life! I did only 12 minutes of Wingates and was dripping sweat by the end of it. I had to sit down for 5 minutes post-workout, and noticed I sweat less in the sauna than I did while using the spin bike. This is my new favorite cardio exercise.

I would say get around thirty minutes a day of cardio preferably in the morning. In you cut go twice a day and go with HIT on non training days.

Haha its funny alot of people would beg to not have to do in on their cycle. But yes I'm pretty sure you best keep doing cardio as far as I'm concerned its part of what you signed up with with lifting.

When I was 16, I came in 3rd place at my first ever 10K. My fastest one mile at that time was around 4:50. I don't shy away from running if I don't have to. Lol!

The thing is, I don't want to over do it during my bulking phase. I have not been running at all and have noticed some increased fat around the midsection. I don't mind if I have to shed it off later, but I am wondering if there is a more efficient way of doing it. This is the first time in almost 15 years that I have not seen my abs. Also, I am beginning to think I am carb sensitive. I don't know if any of this information helps.

I think that's awesome that you like running. Hmm I would def start running again. You read it to often that people think roids is a free card to stop cardio and get lazy with it happy that's not the case ;). I feel like I might be to much a beginner to rightfully answer your questions. But doing cardio in my opinion is necessary even during bulking. stay away from hardcore interval training maybe.

Having a condition will help you, I don't know what your goal is (competition or something). For me personally I don't see why you should feel fat and bad for a couple months just to gain muscle. Its all bro science here but very rarely do I ever see a bodybuilder with a real layer of fat.

Ps: damn you're fast!

The world record holder still has a minute and seven on me. I hate that fucker! LOL!

Thanks for the advice! I am going to start doing cardio a couple times each week.
