Shoulders and Biceps
ad
Hey,
I've got naturally thin arms and have been struggling getting them bigger. I wish my arms were naturally in doubt as my chest and shoulders but hey I have to deal with what I got genetically.
I have paid attention to form and have tried both heavy %85/RM and light weights 10 reps 5 sets. They're stuck at just over 15" flexed and I want to be at 16.5 to look right, DO I assume I'm stuck with this size because of my genetics?
I go Barbell Curl, Dumbell Curl, Hammer Curl and sometimes isolated arm/knee curl whatever it's called %85/RM 5-7 reps/5 sets
Bi's : Biceps Rope Push Down same as above, lying flat barbell triceps press, overhead press
Also, how long did it take for you to achieve that grapefruit ball look on your shoulders?
Thank you

The funny thing, that I have same problems, big chest and small arms. Whenever I do, they growing very slowly. I also think that it's because of genetics. Even if i do more curls then rest, weak output.
Hmmm... about my shoulders, they growing well.
JoeyTorontoWell, I tried his intense biceps program last week, and while it burned and I sweated buckets (maybe because I was doing it too fast), my biceps enlarged but it was short lived, which is normal because when working out all the blood etc engorges the muscles which makes it look big, kinda like a penis..lol and like an inflated balloon it easily deflated. Now, I know it's too early to tell as I need to keep doing it which I will, to see if the new program will make a difference. I just want them to 17.5 and I will be happy, everything has to balance. I can't have a big chest and thinner arms it doesn't look right. My chest is 48", don't know my shoulders, but they have to be worked on too, they broad as is but I need more muscle.
Fella I explained this to you here:
https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/over-40-trt/does-test-give-you-more...
You're over training your arms and your shoulders. You're over training in general. I explained it to you and you didn't respond. You train seven days a week, hit shoulder and arms twice per week, plus the beating they take on back and chest days, ( meaning 3 times a week each), they have no rest time to grow.
JoeyTorontoI've went back to once a day on Biceps and online sources say as long as there is 48 hours rest.
I do chest on Mondays, Back Tuesdays, Shoulders on Wed, Arms on Thurs and Legs on Fridays. I did biceps twice a week for only 2 weeks. still at once a week they're not growing.I need to build them in order for me to lift heavier for chest or else I'll be stuck at the same weight, can't lift heavier weight for chest if I've got weak arms. I do both barbell and dumb bells for chest as barbell works the biceps and dumb bells work the biceps.
Eh?
Your triceps get worked on chest day, biceps get worked on back day.
Have a look in my forums, there's an arm workout that may help you out. Very different, loads of volume.
JoeyTorontoOk, I looked, I will try it on my next bicep day, today I already did biceps. Hopefully i can do the rope bicep hammer curl on my Bowflex Blaze, don't know if the cable is low enough. https://www.amazon.com/Bowflex-Blaze-Home-Gym/dp/B015EPGA0O
just use dumbbells instead.
JoeyTorontohuh? It calls for rope and straight bar, change it up and do other bi and tri exercises with dumb bells?
JoeyTorontoxc
You're hard work you aren't you? On the bicep hammer curls use the Dumbbells instead. You said it's only the bottom ones you don't know if it's low enough?
JoeyTorontoI tried your program today, I've not sweated so much like I did doing this,I was drenched in sweat. I was able to make it to some fo the overhead triceps press, my arms just couldn't bear anymore ..lol..It burned and I hope to see progress. I need those arms bigger. It's a killer. It's harder work then what I'm used to.
BOOM ... maybe one day they will listen
