What type of protein shake do you drink?

ad

I myself use isopure, it works very well for me, but am looking for a bit cheaper alternative, or a homemade concoction, so if anyone has some suggestions, what are you taking?

Isopure is a good one. I like using only whey isolate myself. My body just responds better to it. Careful of budget brands,,,with protein powders you often get what you pay for.

You can't go wrong with anything from ON I use the serious mass yeah yeah its a wright gainer but I don't use it in that sense completely I eat 8 times a day and chug down half a serving of that shit with 16 Oz whole milk right before I fall asleep. It's full of carbs and protein and rich in calories! Cheers friend!

I use ON Whey and Casien, or sometimes Universals Real Gains. Both with Milk and added creatine

I use isolate during the day and a good casein at night. Ive been using whey isolate(vanilla) with 16 oz of milk and a cup of pineapple cottage cheese blended at night,i hate thinking i may be robbing my muscle at night when i sleep, lol. Probably just paranoid for nothing, but we do work hard for what we get.

Any 80% Whey protein concentrate will do you well

Stay away from proprietary blends as these are often used to mask inferior protein sources!!

I never get if I am allowed to post links here. Hahaha, so mods, delete if it's not appropriate.

But back to the topic. Take a look at that list. They tested proteins on their actual content:

As like with everything, more expensive doesn't necessarily mean higher quality ;-)

I use SynthePURE by Synthetek exclusively. Its the best whey isolate I have ever used,

Forza pro by nutrishop, best I've had, flavor, mixability, and makeup... 40% whey, 40% casein, 20% milk protein isolate... Chocolate mint is the bomb...

PES select is great too, but it doesn't mix as well..

It's some of the best quality protein I have been able to find anywhere.

Muscle gauge nutrition sells isolate up to 50lbs per box. Find coupon codes online for like 25% off or free shipping and you can bring the total down to like 8$ a lb delivered. I think I paid 208 for 25lbs isolate delivered. The cinnabun is fireeeee

There are many, many options to go with. Just read the labels and look for quality ingredients. Don't waste your money on overpriced supplements found in magazine ads. Buy online as you can always find some nice deals, but most importantly, don't over think protein powders. It's the real, quality food that will make you grow. If on a budget, make sure you have enough money to buy food and then worry about supplements. They are great for helping to meet your daily protein intake, but without food, it won't help you much. Hope this helps a little bit. Happy Thanksgiving.
