Advice for mild Gyno that has been an issue for several years?

ad

I recently joined and have been doing research and figuring out my best course of action -- My goal ultimately is to get built pretty decently, but there is something I wanted to take care of first....

I've got some mild gyno from several years back when I first got on TRT and my doses were too high, and Dr didn't have me on any AI. Also, I was quite a bit overweight back then, and I might have had some due to having low T in the first place and the high initial TRT aggravated it a bit.

I've read a lot of good things about Letrozole to take care of it? I would like to deal with this problem before even attempting a cycle (got some good advice on the other board to wait for a while and continue to make progress with my current level of TRT before cycling anyway). I would definitely like to try a non-surgical approach first.

Stats:
- 34 y/o male
- 5'10"
- 199 lbs
- On TRT due to low T

  • Bench is around 225lbs right now which is pretty good for me, but lower than in my 20s.
  • Weights 6 days a week, cardio 3-4 times a week (20-40 mins light cardio)
  • Very clean diet (230-250grams protein, yams, brown rice, green veg, etc)

any advice?

thx,
Mikey

Mikey im dealing with the same problem....some spongy type of tissue grew in a small area under my left nipple about an inch in diameter....its noticeable to me because i know its there and I see it through certain shirts I wear which pisses me off! ha. Ive been doing my research and everyone is saying letro will help reduce size to current gyno. I used to only take novla and clomid during cycle but I take no chances now and take arimedex 1mg 2-3 times a week with test cycles because on cycle with existing gyno, the gyro area because sore and inflammed IMMEDIATELY when I use to only start getting estrogen symptoms mid cycle. I honestly wonder as I get older if my converts Test faster and faster because syptoms come on faster and faster with test doses as low as 300mg/week. Let me know how the Letrozole works and I will post when I try it myself.

I tried the masteron route..it did absolutely nothing..
What did work for me was Raloxefene, aromasin and caber. Ralox 60mg ed for 2 weeks then 30 MG a day for 5 months. Aromasin as needed to keep estro centered and caber 0.25 e3d. Do not even bother staring a cycle untill this is done, because Raloxefene lowers your igf levels, so you won't grow. Best you can do is maintain. Now it will not completely get rid of your lumps.. those are there forever, but it will shrink them a significant ammount. When you do go on cycle it is imperative that you control your estro, if it gets out of control the lumps will grow back!
Hope this helps bro.

Get bloodwork done buddy and then judge jt from there.

Thx, and yes, getting bloods done in a couple of weeks as part of regular TRT.

Any idea of BF%?
How long on TRT?
Whats ur TRT dose and frequency?

littlemikey's picture

I've been on TRT for about 6 years now. In hindsight, the Doc I was seeing at the time was too aggressive to recommend it I think, but my test levels were very low.

My current dose is 175mg delivered via .75ml shot every week.

BF is around 18% at the moment.

I'm getting bloods in 2-3 weeks.

Don't want to give anyone the impression that I'm rushing to do this. Like I said, this is fairly mild compared to some, but it bothers me a bit, and it will bother me more as my BF in other areas drops and I wouldn't want to start a cycle without having a solid plan all around.

Thx

Maybe worth noting as well.... my nipples are fine... normal size, etc. The issue is a bit of hardened fat in the tissue underneath.

Typically those hardened lumps don't go away. You may be able to shrink them but they don't go away. I have two small pea size lumps in my left near my nipple. My nipples and chest look fine. So I don't worry about them. Theyre a result of previous gyno. I used mast prop to shrink them to their current size. They were slightly larger. There is a great post/thread around here somewhere about masteron for gyno treatment. I still use mast if I start to get puffy as I aromatize easily as I've gotten older.

Okay...thanks...

Id get some bloods done first. Raloxifene would be your best bet in reversing existing gyno coupled with aromasin. I remember reading that combing nolva with letro will decrease blood plasma of an AI (letro) making it less effective, since raloxifene is a serm, it might do the same when combined with letro. Aromasin is unique, as SERMS(nolva, letro) don't interfere with it and is not as harsh as letro.

Try seeing an endocronologist and see if you can get something prescribed first. Down here where i am they are very helpful, but i dont know about your area.
