Can I get rid of acne before my marriage?

ad

Desperately need some advice from you people. I’m getting married in 8 months and have a terrible problem with acne. This makes me extremely self conscious and I want to get rid of it before my marriage. One of my friends asked me to go Fairview Laser Clinic (Toronto) for acne treatment. I’m not sure about the treatment procedure. Has anyone been to any clinic for acne treatment? Will I be able to get rid of acne before my marriage? If anyone has any advice it would be great!

I've currently been running accutane at 40mg per day bro, it's a last resort since the drug is harsh & drys you up like hell but it's been the only permanent solution for a shitload of people & it's proven to work. You will get an initial breakout during the first few weeks though but after that the shit dries up & clears up pretty fast! Most should be gone within 2/3 months depending on how bad the acne is but it's worked miracles for plenty of people, without the sides being too harsh (mainly dry lips) & I've noticed a massive change at only 4 weeks in! Seems to be working for me well enough so far but it's up to you man, it's a potentially serious step to take so do a good bit of research first. A full course is supposed to be run for at least 5/6 months tho!! But if it gets rid of the fuckers permanently then it's worth it to me.

Thanks for all your comments. I'm planning to do laser treatment, I hope it would get rid of all acne and scars Smile

no worries, you can go that route if you want, simple bloods would be easier, hormonal imbalances are usually the cause, could be as simple as high estrogen.

what type of acne is it? where on your body is it located? what compounds were you running when it became a problem? have you had recent bloods?

I had real bad acne when I was younger. Dermatologist had me on just about every medicine under the sun.....in the end accutane was what broke it. It works, but does hold some side effects like extreme drying of the skin. Its a case of itll get worse before it gets better. Was a life saver for me since i was in high school, and the acne never came back to that degree again.
