+ 1 Does anyone heat their oils under hot water first?

ad

I heard this gives easy injections and good dispersion through the muscle, but I have always been too eager or lazy. I may try it next time because it has taken me a good 40 seconds to push through 1ml test e and 1 ml mast e in the same pin. Thoughts?

I like getting tap water as hot as possible, then filling bottom of sink. Vial goes in to warm. Never submerged, never directly under flow of water.
At this point, I get the rest of my supplies in order. This gives vial chance to warm while I prep

Clean towel on counter to put stuff on...check
alcohol pads.....check
open syringe package....check
open needle packages(one to draw, one to pin).....check

then I open swab and clean stopper, while the alcohol dries and evaporates, put drawing needle on syringe

Ready to go!
(I do like the idea of a heating pad too. May try that next cycle)

The only reason I would ever heat is if your oils is if you live in a cold location or store them in a colder environment. Certain oils have a higher freezing point than others. example test c may freeze at a higher temperature than test e. At times they will form microscopic crystals that are hard to see and increase the viscosity of the oil which can add to pip and injection duration.

in a small pan on the stove,to slightly warm them

I do, i put warm water in a really small tupperware container and then just place the whole vial in with the top of the vial sticking a decent amount out of the water, i do this before i shower cuz i always pin after a shower, so it gives it enough time to warm up.. works for me anyways

No, not even once it's in the pin. Makes contamination possible. Dry heat if you insist on heating it but I don't think it's necessary at all. I don't do it.

I figured we were on the same page with PIP. I have used a gas range before when my power was out and my oils were like 55-60 degrees, not moving! Good time explaining that to a GF that does not know about AAS use yet.

A hot. Water bath is. Sufficient, don't dump water all over the top all the time.

Sterilization is. Key

Be safe

I go through more alcohol swabs than necessary, I assure you that. I've seen the bad end of an injection infection...

I heat the vials on a coffee maker base, simple and its dry heat. Water and warm moisture draw bacteria so always go with dry heat. If you must use warm water, put in a ziploc then run it over hot water.

As long as it's just on the vial I don't see how you can contaminate the gear. As long as you're not running it on the stopper, which is sterilized with alcohol anyways I say it's fine. I do it
