+ 9 Liver Probs from Orals: 3 weeks UDCA, improvement!
ad
After one cycle each of SDrol and Adrol in past year, I began feeling horrible (fatigue so bad I could barely function, general malaise), for months with no other risk factors other than these two 17aa Oral Steroids.
Blood tests showed significantly elevated liver enzymes, then a month later, kidney function numbers had gone up too.
After 3 weeks self administering UDCA 750mg/day, I feel much much better, so I got tested again to see if there's a correlation. There is!
My doctor is shocked and impressed. We went thru ultrasound looking for tumors (negative), and he had scheduled a liver biopsy. That's been cancelled for now.

Sent u a fr have question
P4P just wondering did you have the symptoms of Bland Cholestasis such as pruritus and jaundice. Did you have dark urine?
No yellowing, but priorities came and went periodically--it's tortuous!
Dark urine, yes.
Also, little cuts and nicks on my skin would form weird hard black scabs. Things that would normally have healed and disappeared in 5 days took ten. It looked like the shit that 80 year olds get.
So when you say dark urine was it tea colored or like a brownish color?
It varied. I'd say about in between the two.
Not too alarming but still didn't look right
So slow wound healing, fatigue so bad you could barely function, general malaise, dark urine. Any other symptoms? By the way do you cross-fit?
Yeah, my cross fit routine consists of powerlifting.
;-)
I know of one source that had supposed tudca powder.
There's an old pic here that lists the source.
Otherwise I've used bet pharmacy udca before huge price increase.
Tudca is it not these days.
Cool
Nicely done brother!! I had a 10point drop in AST & a 15pt drop in ALT IN 2 weeks with beet juice & drinking 5 gallons of water a day.
A lot of people forget how important water is to flushing these enzymes.
I've got TUDCA & use that at 1gram a day to see good results when needed. Never heard of ursodeoxycholic acid not in the taurine conjugate form though, where do you get it? Which brand is good? +2
P2i2twell other than sources, as far as the product it is FDA approved and is usually obtained through prescription. But obviously anything obtained through a prescription can be sourced now a days as well as we all know.
PM bro!
I thinks it's against the rules to post im the source here...
Thanks!
Oh yeah, Sry. I'll hit you up
Another thing I want to point out is that, this is not "Liver Support." That's a meaningless term fed to us by supplement company marketing, and which has found its way into Bro Science jargon, like "All Natural," has been used to baffle us all with bullshit in the larger marketing universe for decades. The peddlers of Prohormones made Liver Support a popular term, but it's fluff.
How would one "support" a liver? With its vast functions, which one would one choose to support? What would we support it with, vitamins? "De-toxifiers?" A belt? A truss? A stilt?
UDCA is not organic, natural, Herbal Himalyan Ayurvedic shit from who-knows-where in some agricultural wasteland in India that people shit and die in, "Homeopathic," Homo, or "support;" its a drug.
Wikipedia has drug defined as:
In pharmacology, a drug is "a chemical substance used in the treatment, cure, prevention, or diagnosis of disease or used to otherwise enhance physical or mental well-being."[6] Pharmaceutical drugs may be used for a limited duration, or on a regular basis for chronic disorders.[9]..."
They are conceived, tested, by scientists--the Western kind. Then they are manufactured, and sold as such. We get hold of raws, generics, and ugl products as we can, and sort out good from bunk from harmful in the laboratories of our own bodies. This site is great because we share our results and experiences in that process.
I don't mess around with pseudoscience.
I hope you won't either, guys!
P2i2tthis is very logical what you said about calling a liver support being misused. Thank you for this information. I definitely agree with you but it is usually the term I still use just to make things more convenient I guess considering this is the term everybody uses.but it is obvious you are knowledgeable in this area and for that I give you much respect.
P2i2tthis is why my current and standard liver protection protocol while running orals is
Aegis 6 caps per day=750mg tudca
Liv 52ds
Milk thistle
I run milk thistle and liv 52ds throughout entire cycle and add aegis two weeks prior to and run for 4 weeks post orals. your liver can never be too protected. But it can be not protected enough.
Fr sent for source! +1 thank you for posting
6 caps of AEGIS is actually 510mg TUDCA
13psp13Sending you a pm now!
Fr sent broski ;-)
You should try and show this the ones who claim 17aa are meant to be ran for months just because they read it somewhere. I was about to jump on Dbols for life as a TRT lmao!!!
Yeah Rick, for those who want to learn something that's good for them, here's some info. The horse has hereby been led to water. Lol
Where do you buy
PM for source, guys
Would appreciate if you can pm source for liver support
Thanks much
Nice! You think this is better then liver 52 for on cycle support?
1000% better. Might as well take milk thistle if youre taking liver 52. Wont do much tbh
P2i2tapples to oranges bro. Udca is so much more advanced. it is FDA approved And last I knew you can only get it through prescription. I've been looking for it but have to always settle for tudca.was this prescribed or do you have a secret source? If so please PM me!
Look for the brand name Actigall or genric name Ursodiol which is Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA)
P2i2tThank you mega ;-)
Fuck my bad! I was thinking of tudca! Fml
