About to take the dive into a 7 day carb depletion on tuesday. I'm very nervous because I know how my body is on one day of no carbs and cardio is fucking brutal with a one day depletion. If any of you guys have made it through a heavy deplete like this id like your input on how you felt if you were able to push through your cardio or if you just did the best you could. I be been doing two hours of cardio a day am and pm but on my depletion day the stairs are looking like they have no end in sight lol and I only manage about a half hour before my legs get so weak I can barely walk. Guess that's how I know I'm on the right track.

Your improvements have been great over this last year or so bro. Your guy must want to push out just a bit more water. My coach had me do it. Feels shitty as fuck feel small etc but embrace that. My advice is to take no advice from anyone other than whoever is helping you. Glutes are in tho fuck yeah can't wait to see how dry you get in 2 wks
Thanks. Yea I stick to what my coach tells me. He is a great guy and very passionate abut bodybuilding I'm lucky to have him. He's having me carb deplete until next Tuesday then carb up for three days before the show and drop the water that Friday before. Everything he's told me has been spot on I trust him. He likes to keep it raw and was big on the dorian yates 90s style of bodybuilding and training. I know all the work I've put in will pay off I'm at my physical and mental limit now. I know I've given it all I can for this show.
Looking good man. Not much longer, comes down to who can suffer the most and tolerate it at this point. Legs should feel shot during this time. To get through cardio, I'd just hit the stairs from different angles to keep it fresh / keep myself awake and rotate the tension. Intervals straight on; intervals side steps one side; then intervals side step the other; carefully rotate intervals in reverse; then intervals forward skipping a stair. Usually I'll notch the speed down a bit and focus on squeezing with every part of my legs through the varying intervals. The different motions were enough to keep me awake so it wasn't mundane and also switch where I was hitting the legs. The side steps alleviate a good portion of tension and activate some other fibers. Whatever time you have away from gym & work, spend in bed & rest up.
Thanks everyone and thanks man I was hoping you would drop a comment. I'm pretty much hitting rock bottom at this point "legs should be shot" is an understatement lol. Those side steps sound like a good idea I'll deff do that. Going to work like this is horrible, can barely get up from the chairs lol. 12 days now to go I can deff make it. Your comments always keep my spirits up thanks for all the help.
