How long until you felt your libido increase after first pin?

ad

I've been on trt for quite some time now as I'm almost 40. I've been taking 150 mg every 10 days but had to come off abruptly due to having some bunk gear. I used to run a blast/cruise when I was younger but i've been on that 150 mg for a couple of years.

Well, today my care package landed and I was like F@#$ it, I'm going to take 400 mg for the next 12-14 weeks. I wonder how long it will take to feel the libido increase since right now it's gone due to the bunk gear.

I know everyone has a different experience but just wanted to hear what those experiences are. I already know that it won't show in the gym for about 4-6 weeks but it's been so long I've forgotten how long until the libido kicks in which is very important to my wife.

dude... your almost 40 and using ugl gear for trt!? get in to see your endocrinologist man, get a prescription for testosterone 1x per week (dont accept the 1x every 2 weeks though. levels drop too much) and then go pick up your script at your local pharmacy. if your in the states, watson test cyp is the best gear you can get! no worrying if its bunk or not.

as far as your question, i agree with ashop and flip, i feel libido increase by week 2. oily skin by the end of week 1. effects come even quicker if you front-load

Its not as easy as it sounds to get on trt. If you are one of the "lucky" ones they charge quite a bit for your supply. There are only a few states here in America where you can just walk in a clinic and get a prescription fairly easy.

I might be in a "lucky" state then because many older guys I know and train with get their Watson test straight from Walmart or Costco pharmacy lol and many times the insurance covers most of the cost so it comes out less than ugl.

Many times you can even trick your doc into getting you a script by going in right before pct and let your levels come down very low. Complain about how you feel tired and low energy ect. Get bloods pulled, and boom! Test script

I originally did start out with the doc. I live out in the country so there isn't a lot of choices. I went away from the doctor because he was making me come in once a week (taking off work) and would not allow a script to be written. He also requires blood work every 2-3 weeks and found my test level being at 500 to be sufficient even though the symptoms/lack of libido were still there.

what i have learned from other guys, not me because im still in my 20s and have a while till im on hrt, but if your current doc wont write you a script, go to a different doctor. if you live in the country that might not be the most plausible option i realize but search around and see other endos or docs until one WILL write you a script so you can administer at home yourself.

while im not an endo nor do i give any professional health advice but many guys i know that DO run hrt run a little more than that so it will bring them into the 1,200nl range. thats like a 13 y/o boy when puberty first hits. wham! lol its not out of normal natural ranges, just on the very high end. most guys will say being at this level will keep libido up and all the positives of trt without major risks to having too much testosterone. (i.e. prostate issues, heart problems, elevted BP or rbc ect.) just an option im presenting. but since you do qualify for HRT, i highly recommend searching around to get a doic to write you a script for at home administration of testosterone. it will save you alot of headache in the future. best of luck
